Sideshow freaks from the late 19th to mid 20th century, movies, books, music, learning more, my banjos, writing-whatever my brain spews out, making others smile. The sound of laughter, the sound of silence, truth or dare, (double-dog dares too!) My wonderful friends, Chester Cheeta Hot Fries, Caramello's, car trips with great music, the windows open and me smiling more!

A strange mix.... whatever makes that little nerve at the base of my skull hum. Here's a sampling of my consistant listenings...The Chameleons UK, The Sound, The Cure, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Bauhaus, The The, Some Bluegrass and mountain ballads, some rockabilly, some punk, lotsa post punk, some goth, some modern darkwave stuff, Tuvan throat singing, old soul...see! told ya it was a mix! Movies:
There again...a lot. Jean Cocteau, John Hughs, Jim Jarmusch, Ken Russell, Alex Cox to name a few standard faves. I also really like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang....did you know that Ian Flemming wrote it? He wrote the James Bond stuff....nifty, huh? Really- I do like to watch a lot of movies!
Television:
not as much as I used to!! but I Love Little House on the Prairie. VH1 classics. The Little Rascals ...IFC and Sundance...
Books:
my fave is Til We Have Faces by CS Lewis. Also love Cold Mountain by Frazier...BUST Magazine, Mental Floss and tons more....there was more stuff here but some wonky myspace virus wiped it out and put some weird "touch the spaghetti monster" thing here.... so if what I read is really important to you....ask.
Heroes:
Ronnie and Maxie....the road trip queens of the double dog dare! ..Hayata!!! .. .. Tura, Marianne and other bad ass chicks with a wide stance!
