This page is dedicated to the upcoming movie Fiesta produced by Wells-Halima Entertainment. The script is based on my first novel Azucar Moreno and is scheduled to begin shooting late summer in the Metro Detroit area.

SYNOPSIS:
Fiesta is a multi-cultural drama/comedy focusing on three young women NIKKI MORENO, her cousin ROSIE MORENO and their friend since childhood, JASMINE BENOIT. Nikki is a struggling actress who is pondering a move that could take her career to the next level. Her parents dont support her career choice and shes faced spirit-breaking rejection, but in the end she realizes her own lack of faith is her biggest obstacle. Rosie is a tough talking wild-child who finds herself caught between her attraction for the handsome ALEJANDRO and her sexy pal CRYSTAL. But she discovers having both objects of her desire is more than she can handle. Against the best wishes of her friends, Jasmine forges ahead in her relationship with DANTE. However, he has an addiction that could lead to deadly consequences.
The fiesta brings them, along with their friends, together. But in the celebrations aftermath will come broken friendships, the possibility of renewed love, and death. Featuring a cast of interesting and colorful characters, Fiesta will set the screen ablaze with a story laced with love, eroticism, laughter and tears.
