IN THE NAME OF THE KING opens January 11, 2008:
I play COMMANDER TARISH, the leader of the King Konreid's (Burt Reynolds) armies,
alongside an all-star cast including: Jason Statham, Ray Liotta, Burt Reynolds, Leelee Sobieski, Claire Forlani, Kristana Lokken, John Rhys-Davies, Ron Perlman and Will Sanderson.
PLOT SUMMARY: The life of a hardworking peasant-farmer (Jason Statham) known only by his profession, as Farmer, is changed forever when a marauding bang of Krug – animalistic brutes in the thrall of an evil sorcerer – thunders down upon the unsuspecting village of Stonebridge, killing his son and kidnapping his wife, Solana (Claire Forlani). Galvanized by his grief, the once peace-loving peasant leads his mentor Norick (Ron Perlman) and his brother-in-law Bastian (Will Sanderson) in pursuit of the Krug army to free Solana.
As the Krug overrun the countryside, the King’s magus Merick (John Reyes-Davies) discovers the true source of their power: his old rival, Gallian (Ray Liotta), a formidable and power-hungry wizard. Gallian plans to use his hellish militia to overthrow King Konreid (Burt Reynolds) and place his sniveling pawn, Duke Fallow (Matthew Lillard), on the throne.
Konried’s full legions ride forth, under the direction of Commander Tarish (Brian White), to engage the bloodthirsty Krug. As Farmer, determined to find Solnana, sets off with his companions toward the treacherous mountain passes of Ebh into uncharted territory. A daring nighttime raid on a Krug encampment turns tragic when Norick and Bastian are captured and Farmer barely escapes with his life.
Desperate to find his wife and friends, Farmer joins forces with Tarish and the royal army in an epic battle against the masses of Krug. Farmer’s extraordinary heroics catch the attention of both Gallian and Merrick, who suspect there is more to the simple country squire that meets the eye.
In a final confrontation that will determine not only Farmer’s fate, but also the fate of the entire kingdom, it is be up to Farmer to claim his birthright and defeat Gallian, or allow the evil wizard to take control of the land and destroy all that Farmer has ever loved.

PLOT SUMMARY: A young man finds that the moves he learned on the street may help him make a better life for himself in this youth-oriented musical drama. DJ Williams (Columbus Short) is a 19-year-old growing up in Los Angeles; while DJ is at heart a good kid and a gifted street dancer, he runs with a dangerous crowd, and one night an underground dance competition turns into a brawl and DJ ends up in jail. DJ's younger brother has already died a violent death, and his mother, hoping to put him back on the straight and narrow, sends DJ off to Truth University, a historically African-American college in Atlanta. At first, DJ feels like a misfit at Truth, but when he gets a chance to show off his dancing skills, he attracts the attention of two campus fraternities. Greek life is a major presence at Truth, and each year the fraternities take part in a "stepping" competition, in which the members show off their synchronized dance moves. DJ joins the Theta Nu Theta house, and is eager to help them take the championship away from their campus rivals, but in time he also comes to understand the brotherhood and community service that's a key part of his fraternity's background. DJ also has more on his mind than dancing and studying when he meets April (Meagan Good), a beautiful coed.
