MARK WHEAWILL

Hi I'm Mark. I am currently living in Stretford (but I'm originally from Flixton), Manchester. I also used to live in Chorlton and Old Trafford. I've been on the sick for the last 10 months so I haven't been very productive as of late with regards to dance music tracks in comparison to the 21 releases I had on vinyl in the past (seems like ages ago now!). All I've managed to do is a couple of Christina Aguilera remixes! I turned 30 not too long ago and my first love (profession) was being a Record Producer and Artist. I can also DJ. I also used to sing a lot and play the guitar when I was in a band in my school days - but it's been a while haha! I've been writing music since I was about 11. Started playing the guitar when I was about 12 and heavily into the whole grunge music scene! But I'm not so bothered about doing music these days - Just can't be arsed anymore. It's an expensive business to be in and my priorities have changed!!! It's good to be out of the bubble!!!
I studied at University for a degree in Media Studies with Business Management and I.T. In my spare time I like going to the gym and playing football and I also go swimming. I have played with Trafford FC who were once in the Unibond League. I've just started reading books and have recently finished Dan Brown's "Angels and Demons". I enjoy going out at weekends. I used to be a Director of my own record company TSYT RECORDINGS LTD. That was good whilst it lasted!!!
In the past, I've produced various dance records under different pseudonyms (Evenflow, Bravemusic, Source Of Gravity, Outlanders, 4th Orbit, TSYT and of course Vitality) and have appeared on a few compilations around the world. DJ'd on KEY103, played at house parties and clubs such as 2 Kinky here in the UK and abroad. I've produced and engineered tracks using Cubase, Cubase SX, Nuendo and Pro Tools. I also used to program sounds on a range of hardware and software synths for my onlinesoundproduction business a few years back!
I have a degree in Business Management and Media Studies with I.T. The media side of the module involved Commercial Music Production in which we recorded and released a CD with various local bands on it. Some very interesting stuff in my blog section too...
Also, I believe in the ENERGY. Energy is all around us. Positive and Negative Energy. Some energy is negative and can be used in verbal or physical ways. Music is part of that energy. I believe that it is up to you as a person (or shall we say as an individual) to choose whether to block out any negative energy in your life. As I have got older I have become more and more aware of different forms of energy and how to stop negative energy coming in to my life. I guess you can say wisdom does come with age. Surrounding myself with lots of people who are always positive is the first step to achieving this greater harmony.
Included on this profile are two remixes of Christina Aguilera's most recent single "Ain't No Other Man" [Mark Wheawill's High Fidelity Space Remix] and [Mark Wheawill Remix]. The latest additions which were recently written and produced by Mark and his brother are a slab of Electro Funky House by STUNT DOUBLE and is entitled "Party's just started" and a NEW track under the Vitality guise "Scratch" which is the first Vitality track for about 3 years. We are looking for someone to add vocals to both tracks preferably in a rap/hip hop type style. Get in touch if you think you've got what it needs.
