I am actually a bar....

About Me

I am a ten years old bar in the centre of Jerusalem. Most of my friends are students, artists, soldiers and cool teenage girls. Some of them are just into my beer, but hey, that's fine. I am named after a David Bowie album, a fact that makes me much cooler then anyone else in the world (apart, from maybe, Snoopy's yellow bird).
From the Travel guides:
Lonely Planet:
"Stardust is a small, cozy bar with different musical offerings. Monday is club night, considered by the local beat press to be a standout on the sometimes stagnant music scene"

(from "Lonely Planet", Jerusalem Edition)
Wikitravel:
"The Stardust is one of Jerusalem's oldest pubs. The pub was established in '96, and is named after a David Bowie album. It's crowd is a mix made of students, tourists, artists and young people. The music is mainly Alternative, mostly from England, and the bar prices are extremely good. The Happy Hour starts at 16:30 and lasts for five hours. All major sports event, including English Premier League, Bundesliga, World Cup and Champions League are shown there on a big screen."

(from "Wikipedia - Wikitravel")
Octopus Travel:
"As one of the many bars that line Rivlin Street in the Ben Yehuda Street area, Pub Stardust is a cosy joint that prides itself on its cultural melange of art students, Anglos and, in fact, the underdogs who are Jerusalem's football team. The intimate space creates the impression that here everyone knows your name, so sit back with Israel's own Goldstar beer and feel like a local."

(from "Octopustravel.com")
Student Travel:
"Check out the area around Rivlin St, Jaffa Rd, and Zion Square for a thriving pub scene. The area is dotted with bars and clubs - it gets packed on the weekends, but not until late. Be sure to make a stop at Pub Stardust (6 Rivlin St), a cavernous dive with an awesomely random playlist. The Stardust is named after a David Bowie album and is popular with local students and artists"

Some weird stuff to start with - a video made by Roi Chicky Arad, and featuring the gorgeous Neta Cohen. All filmed at the Stardust - u must see it!
..
And this is something new. A short film that our dear friend Tamar Zinger took like three years ago, with the main scene taking place at the Stardust. It also stars our beloved cotumers Barbara and Avishay, and as the Bartender you can catch our past lovely worker Noa Haruvi. The film is also hailing SUEDE - our all time favourite band. Well done Tammy.
