Police&Thieves UK bio
The Police&Thieves crew have been bringing roots reggae music to the streets, clubs and radiowaves of Bristol in the west of England since 2001.
Vibes on the night come from I-man Rankin Mike alongside my long-time bredrin Barry Steppa.
Regular sessions in recent years have been hosted at The Tube (Union St) on a Friday as well as the legendary well-established Sunday sessions at Cosies (Portland Sq). Big up to Queen Bee, Sam and all the Cosies fam.
Previous sessions have rocked the Croft, Thekla, Lakota, Timbuk2 and not forgetting the original Chicane Cafe (RIP). Rootical link ups have included Bristol's one and only DJ Stryda (Dubkasm studio/Sufferah's Choice Radio), Hytal Rockas, Andy Scholes/2Kings, Aslan Sound and veteran soundman Conroy from Bristol's original Alpha & Omega sound.Big up to Barry Steppa for flying the Police&Thieves banner from now on.
