Positive Vibration is a roots and dub sound system originating from Bath where from 2003 until 2005 we ran a monthly session in a couple of different venues. Now based in Bristol we are slowly re-establishing ourselves. The scene in Bristol has been very welcoming and we have received alot of encouragement from more established soundsystems, dj's and promoters so big respect going out to the likes of dj Stryda of Dubkasm & Passion fm, also Addis & Kama of Negus Melody, Dub From Atlantis, N-Chant and Reggae Revolution crew, Queen B, Conroy (Alpha & Omega), Papa Roots, Jon Stapleton at the tube, Culture Robbie & Beefy from Hytal Rockas and Jo from Temwa and all the extended Babyhead family thanks for cutting us in. Also one love and many thanks reaching out to Dub D, Skully & Akuji Warrior from Jah Lion Movement for giving us a try. In recent months Cosies Wine Bar in Bristol has played host to us a few times. What can i say? this may be a small venue but when the vibes are right its rockin! (Again thanks reaching out to Queen Bee, Conroy and Robin. Also thanks to Flora for booking us again) Monday the 25th June saw Positive Vibration make our radio debut on DJ Stryda's Sufferahs Choice Show on passionradiobristol.com where we showcased our vibe to listeners locally and abroad and delivered an exclusive set of productions from the Positive Heights studio (thanks to JT for the mixing assistance) please keep checking the I-space for upcoming sessions and new productions.
