The Record, or Hataklit in Hebrew, is a tribute pub to the old Vinyl Record. The place was established by three friends, key figures in the local music scene. One of the guys is fronting a successful Rock group, the second owns his own record company, and the third is a well known music journalist.
Those three friends also share another passion connected to music – Record collecting, and between them you can find a collection of ten of thousands of vinyls.
The three friends took their hobby a step further and opened The Record/Hataklit, with the mission to spread their love of records to everyone in the area.
They decided to do it in an old building, over a hundred years old. The building begun it's life as a family house, then for a few decades it was hosting an intimate restaurant, and now it's a pub for the locals.
Over the walls of the pub you can find rare records, some are original gold and platinum issues. You can also just enjoy the atmosphere which consists of great music chosen by the local friendly (and cool) staff, or by our guest DJ's. Now all that is left for you to do is search that old record collection of yours in the attic. Who knows, you might enjoy the nostalgia back home as well.
