________________Blake frist love and introduction to music was drums and percussion and musical influences are R&B,Soul,Jazz and Reggae because of Blake alternative and experimental artistic side that Blake is Most none for Electronic Dance Music spoken word and or poetry in the mix with House music and Techno music in the mid 80's Blake was a big part of Detroit 1st wave of Techno musicians/artist & DJ's as a DJ...In Detroit Blake was one of the main DJs to bring the house and techno music sound to the Detroit dance clubs fuse-ing D.O.R and industrial/alternative music with acid house and techno dance music Blake was the DJ that Jump started clubs like the (Majestic) and the (Shelter) he was a three year resident at the (Majestic Theater club) He also Deejay-d at the Shelter and at the (City club/leland house) Blake also played Hip Hop/R&B/Dance hall & Reggae at Clubs (Wax fruit) and (Jimmy's) in downtown Detroit Back in the day. Blake also owned a record store called (Save The Vinyl) in down town Detroit for five years during that time he promoted rave party's at the (Wear-house Club) Blake first music was released on Chicago house music record label (DJ international) and later in Detroit Blake released music on the first Detroit techno compilation album the Album that defined the Detroit techno music sound on (Virgin 10 records) based in UK/London Called (The New Dance Sound of Detroit) Blake's tunes on the compilation (Forever and a day) (Ride em boy) (Un, Deux, Trois) and he also wrote the lyrics/poem to (the Spark) in Detroit Blake also produced tunes on (KMS records), (Incognito records) and on (UR) Underground Resistance techno music record label Before starting his own label (Mix Records) (MIX Inc.) and In Germany on the Berlin fame techno music record label (Tresor) Blake has three albums One Detroit compilation and one DJ mix CD and umm...yada yada..Daaa OH! and Blah Blah blah...
