Hi i'm Lucy KatzI was born and bred in sunny sheffield, but dont let me hear you knock it!! i still live there and love the place... Iam the youngest of 4 with two older brothers and and older sister you learn to toughen up quickly!!At the age of 18 I used to be with a local band called LUNATIC CAFE , we had limited success playing the local scene, you know the pubs were you dodge the bottles if they dont like you!!! only joking but some of the places we played were at the lower end of the market were they would prefer to play bingo rather than hear live music! let alone Indie rock..After 6 months together we got what we thought was a break! but turned out to be a bit of a nightmare! well the short version is we get ripped of to the tune of £3000 and ended up with out the demo tape we should have had! thanks to our so called manager! well one thing lead to another and after one disaster after another! Including being told that i could make it as the British Brittney ( no thank you) if I left the band and did the same cheesy pop she did!! the band split leaving me with a nasty taste in my mouth and totally disillusioned with the music business I quit trying and trained to be a nurse..Well that brings us up to date well not quite! I found the 2 songs that are on the site a few months ago! and started letting some people i trust hear them, all that heard them said I should try again! well I'm still not sure!! but here we are .... you can blame Lori and Dean for this i know i will... thanks guyslove Lucy xxxxxx
