To you, Baldrick, the Renaissance was just something that happened to other people, wasn't it?

About Me

You have been marked on my profile map! Click to zoom-in.Well, first off, for those people who knew me prior to ’92 and are scratching their head, my name was MICHAEL LEIGHTON back then.I grew up in and around small towns in Minnesota, eventually moving to Rochester where I finished High School. We had horses when I was young and I still miss having them. Though I don’t miss the Minnesota winters … just fall and the occasional thunderstorm.Graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI as a Theatre Major (Bio Major originally. After college I went to Chelsea, Michigan and worked for Jeff Daniels at his Purple Rose Theatre (fantastic experience!).In ’94 I packed a couple of bags and headed to L.A., where I was hired by New Regency Productions. I worked in Business & Legal Affairs for NRP for 5 years, and continued to do theatre (over 30 productions) and film crew work.In ’99 I moved to Moonstone Entertainment where I am the Director of Production & Marketing (no time for theatre anymore).I have three older sisters: Debbie, who moved out to L.A. a few years ago, Cheri, who we tragically lost to illness in the fall of 2003, and Kathy, who lives back in Minnesota. My mom and her husband live in Vegas, so I make frequent trips to Sin City. I also have a half sister Heather, who lives back in Iowa.

My Interests

I love movies, music, the outdoors, travel (foreign & domestic), books, history, and good conversation. Any place I’ve been to has given me back something to think about and treasure, but some of my favorite places are: Rome, London, Scotland (anywhere), Paris, Prague, Ireland (anywhere, but prefer the small towns like Skibbereen), Budapest, Florence, Siena, Budapest, Oslo, Goteborg, Stockholm, Bergen, Copenhagen, Brussels, Monaco, Cannes, Bavaria, Barcelona, Austrian Alps, Tokyo, Hong Kong.
