About Me

Lets see! Where do I start? I started playing drums at the age of 4 on my mom's tupperware set!(I played Rock n Roll All Night over and over) My babysitter at the time was a huge KISS fan so I have her to blame for getting me hooked on KISS. Music has been in my blood ever since!I started my first band when I was a freshman in high school. We played KISS of course, along with all the hair music of the 80's.The bands name was Battalion. After Battalion, I worked with a band called Wisdom while I was going to college.I also played in several other projects while going to college: S.E.X. , Black Valentine, Alligator Boogie Band, Steele Drum Band, Jazz Band (various styles of music) I attended the Music Conservatory at L.U. in Appleton WI. While there, I took master classes with some of the greatest drummers around.(Peter Erskine, Greg Bissonette, Dave Weckl etc...) I earned a Bachelor Degree in music education but decided teaching wasn't for me. I'd much rather spend my time on a stage performing.Once college was over, Wisdom started to take off and we were playing just about every Fri. and Sat., traveling all over the place. We opened for REO SPEEDWAGON as well as a couple of shows with the BULLET BOYS! The rock and roll party began! After Wisdom I played in a KISS tribute band called Creatures of the Night. I performed as Eric Carr and once again we hit the road to play the different KISS conventions. This was a dream come true as I got to meet Bill Aucoin (Kiss' original manager), Bruce Kulic, Gene, Paul, Eric Singer as well as a host of other kiss related musicians along the journey.Next came a band called Liquid Crush , followed by a blues band called Pressure Point along with helping out some local wedding bands and a 4 piece project called 4-Play. Perple Rain (Prince Tribute)was my last big project I performed with mainly playing throughout the IL area. Our last show was Summerfest 06 opening for Pink!!I currently work with four different projects. "7 wishes"(arena rock), "Gabriel & The Angels"(originals), "Star 69"(old school metal), and "Yikes"(originals).Talk about running a tight schedule!!!!I always try and keep my options open because you never know when that "big break" might come. Other than music, I really enjoy lifting weights, going to see movies and going out to eat!! I also teach drum lessons and help out with various school music programs and community musicals. Last but not least, I have 3 Boston Terriers which I love to death. All in all, I am a very caring and honest individual who respects others and trys not to get wrapped up in the stresses of today. My passion lies in music and always will. Anyways, this should give you a brief glimpse into my past, and present. As for the future, I'll let that take care of it self.
