So far...
We are twins from the Gemini-constellation.
Kastor was born in the beginning of the millennium. Ever since lot of exuberant, scorching gigs (w/ Underwater Sleeping Society, Rubik, Magenta Skycode, Sister Flo, Callisto, Lapko, Cosmobile, The Valkyrians to mention but a few of the fellow finnish acts) has been played around Finland (and Russia).
Through active existence Kastor became a founding member of New Music Community, a finnish music community promoting independent artists. Appraised and acknowledged mini-album "Invisible Triumph" (NMC-007) was released in 2005 by Siamese Sounds, New Music Community's record label.
In November 2007 band was signed by Backstage Alliance, a strong new finnish record company.

About LOST STATION -debut album
Kastor’s previously so carefully hidden world of water lilies, pale pink flamingos and gentle tigers is finally opening to us all. The stories told on the debut album Lost Station create comforting states and frequencies with almost illegally beautiful pop music.
The shade of Kastor’s music is deep, dark blue... Like an embracing summer night, it brings hope and comfort through riddles and questions. Why do not our paths cross even if we try to keep the track of each other? Should we have done something differently in a particular moment, leave the train at the previous station? Is finding impossible and searching hopeless when the connection fails? Lost Station is simultaneously a concrete place and an abstract image.
Debut Album "Lost Station" was recorded in the year 2007 in various locations, all nearby the Mother Sea. We appraise the atmosphere and collected memories from Hästholmen, Studio Anatol and Studio Hämeentie 28. Album was mixed with a vision by Arto Tuunela and mastered by Minerva Pappi. Thank you Arto & Minerva!
