... Because we need to live in the place where we are truly alive, present, safe and accounted for..

About Me

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU SEND ME AN ADD OR A STOOPID MESSAGE ABOUT HOW I LOOK. AND I'M AN AUSSIE, SO LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A VISA. I work for a women's charity in london. I enjoy cultural consumption - reading, playing music, seeing films, gigs, etc. I love creative production as well - I write a lot, I like taking photos, and I made my first film this year. And I love to sing - though that's much more for my own pleasure than anyone else's! I'm into combining creativity with political activism, and love working on collectives to do something bigger than I could do myself, and generally getting inspired and challenged and doing something about it. And connecting with people I love and 'get' is of course essential... I don't like spending loads of money on pointless crap... though there are things i want (techie toys, basically) I think we get highjacked into thinking consuming shit really will make us feel better about our lives, when it's actually the driving force for other people's poverty, slavery, and generally fucking up the planet. My driving passion is women's human rights, because despite the changes that have happened, we still have a bloody long way to go before we can say we have equality for women and men, even right here in the UK ............................................................ ............................................................ .......... This is, ultimately, what I want. I want an end to rape, child abuse, domestic violence and war. I want a world where there are limitless possibilites for how to be male or female, not these narrow social constructions of gender that limit the lives of both women and men. And I want a serious challenge to the institutionalised sexism and unequal power that leads to so much violence and continued inequality. (don't believe me? check it out - the gender pay gap continues, less than 20% of MPs in the UK are women, 45% of all women in the UK are survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence or stalking, only 6% of hollywood directors are women, it goes on and on folks.) I want a world where women and men can truly be equal and free, where sexuality isn't commodified and sold back to me in every billboard I pass, where I do feel safe to walk the streets alone, where all women and children can be safe within their families, where men were more in touch with their feelings, and women do not feel pressured to have to waste huge amounts of time and energy combing, plucking, shaving, starving and squeezing their bodies in order to feel good. Where the dominant messages to men and women would be that beauty is muti-faceted and incredibly varied, and truly the eye of the beholder, and that women's worth is in their brains, bodies, passions, intellect, courage, determination, wisdom, nurturing, pride, ambitions and creativity, and so much more - and not just in their looks. I wish feminism was not such a dirty word in this country, and that women and men could see that feminism is all about freedom, and choice, that it's not anti-sex at all, it's just about looking honestly at power, and the meanings we make of gender and our ideas about what it means to be male and female, and it's about saying enough is enough, lets divvy up the power equally thanks, and work towards respectful and free lives for all.»-(¯`v´¯)-» Design your MySpace with MyLook «-(¯`v´¯)-«

You are Judgement

Happiness, Content, Joy.

Judgment is related to the Hebrew letter Shin, which is fiery and spiritual. A break from the past, going forward.

With Fire as its ruling element, Judgement is about rebirth or ressurection. The idea of Judgement day is that the dead rise, their sins are forgiven, and they move onto heaven. The Judgement card is similar, it asks the resurrection to summon the past, forgive it, and let it go. There are wounds from the past that we never let heal, sins we've committed that we refuse to forgive, bad habits we haven't the courage to lose. Judgement advises us to finally face these, recognize that the past is past, and put them to rest, absolutely and irrevocably. This is also a card of healing, quite literally from an accident or illness, as well as a card signaling great transformation, renewal, change.
