It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock'n'roll

About Me

I began my career as a Sound Engineer 7 years ago after several years of being a trained musician/arranger, performing in many bands encompassing different music genres (blues, soul, funk, rythm & blues, jazz, rock, reggae, ska and some weird experimental/electronic music) as well as hosting the radio show Sinergia (broadcasted on Radio Città Futura) and organising music events.
I graduated from the SAE Intstitute in September 2001 and after gaining some experience in recording studios in Rome, in 2002 I decided to move to London where I had the chance to be at the court of great Sound Engineer/Producer Gwyn Mathias, at the Odessa Wharf Studios in Hackney.
During my "London days" I also collaborated with fellow countryman and talented Musician/Engineer/Producer Andrea Terrano at Iguana Studio in Brixton, being credited on the Sarah Blair & The Union album "Institutions" (Establishment Records).
In January 2004 I returned to my native Rome where I started dealing with Live Sound Engineering, working on concerts and television broadcasting (for Rai, the Italian national broadcaster, Mediaset, MTV, Sky TV), as well as theatre in a range of different roles.
These included Monitor Engineer (my main specialisation), FOH Engineer, PA Systems Tech, Backliner/Stage Tech, RF Systems Tech, Location Sound Recordist.
Since November 2007 I have been living and working in the UK once again, this time moving between England and Italy according to where I am needed for work.
Aside from my technical work I am also the UK representative of the
(POP)CORN CHIC *InDieDisco*
events and GRAV!TY FESTIVAL in Rome.
I am interested in hearing from signed/unsigned bands and solo artists who wish to take part in these events.
