About Me
I'm born in Rome the 21st of April 1977, and I share my birthday with my beloved hometown Rome!!! I started playing the piano at the age of 5 and the violin at 6, but my dream was to become a succesful football player...unfortunately I could just play as a goalkeeper(sometimes). When I was 15 I started playing keyboards and writing tracks for a rock band, and later on I understood that my life should have been a total commitment to music. So I took my degrees in Rome in composition and conducting, and in the meantime I worked as a pianist, conductor and composer in several theatrical shows in Rome and around Italy, that led me to work with Carlo Croccolo, Carlo Lizzani, Antonella Steni, Paolo Malco, Giuditta Saltarini. But my greatest passion for cinema, theatre and jazz pushed me overseas, so I went to London at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama where renowed actors such as Alfred Molina, Ewan McGregor and Maya Sansa went to to study. I am now based in London, composing, arranging and producing music of every kind, mainly for pop music and short and feature films. Recently I've worked in the pre-production of next Tim Burton's film "Sweeney Todd", with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonan-Carter, and I've released my first "kind of jazz"album VOCI(you can hear some tracks here), that includes all tracks composed by me.
I've also arranged and conducted the orchestra for the new "APPASSIONANTE" album(crossover-opera group), album produced by Chris Neil(producer of Celine Dion, Cher, Marillon etc.)
