Music makes you feel better!! (at least I hope...)

About Me

I was born in Venice / Italy in 1967. I took my first music lessons at the age of seven starting with the piano. When I was about 17 I got interested in rock and blues, studying guitar with the late Germano Serafin (who played with Le Orme, a famous band in the 70’s in Italy). Subsequently, after working together with several bands in the Northeast of Italy, I get interested in jazz and fusion, collaborating with U.T. Gandhi (Enrico Rava`s Electric Five). I attends different seminars (Frank Gambale, Mike Stern, John Taylor, Robert Dick). Before I arrived in London I kept the teaching assignment of jazz guitar at the Music Institute "Alfabeta"in Mantova and "Centro Educazione Musicale di Pordenone", I was a member of the quartet "Loudjazz" and of the project “Quadra Quartet”, with whom I recorded, my own trio with U.T. Ghandi (drums) and Giovanni Maier (doublebass). I had also played in many different situations (trio with Hammond, duo with guitar, ecc.). I played with a lot of famous jazz musicians, like Marc Abrams (Chet Baker), Max Dall`Omo (Barry Harrys), U.T. Gandhi and Giovanni Majer , Gianni Cazzola (Charlie Mariano, Lee Konitz), Riccardo Fioravanti (Massimo Urbani), Marco Ricci (John Stowell), At the moment I am teaching guitar at the Chelsea Independent College, and I play with some London based fantastic musicians, like Brian Edwards (sax), Roberto Manzin (Sax) Henrik Jensen (Double Bass) and Miles Danso.PartecipationsMay 2007 London Guitar Festival Queen Elizabeth Halls – Foier stage performance: Duo with Henrik Jensen.Summer 2004 Cremona Jazz Festival with U.T.
