Im a bit of day dreamer im always looking into nothing. Stars and galaxy gazing, looking at and observing nature is all good, you could say im a bit of a bush man!
My Maker
I grew up on music from the West Indies with my father being a record producer from Saint Vincent working with various Calypso, Soca and Reggae Artist's. Im very open eared, theres not much music i dislike, although i do prefer to listen to old soul, Ray Charles or Marvin Gaye for example. I also listen to alot of music from around the world , like traditional Afrikan music, styles and ryhthms that date back thousands of years. Anything with substance.
If it can make you cry with laughter its good, stupid stuff makes me laugh, Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle, Eddie Murphy, Will Ferrel, are legends. As for serious flicks, i find when i watch movies made from real life expeiriences the results can be quite shocking, Cry Freedom, Hotel Rwanda, Shindlers List to name a few.
Once again the comidies reign! Def Comedy Jam series, Only fools and horses, That 70's show (i cant belive i admitted to that one whew!) Ok i think im on good terms to open up with you now, i... watched... with real enthusiasm... THE X FACTOR... i know, i need help mann! if anyone knows someone let me know. Thanx
Recently i picked up on reading the autobiographies of musicians i picked up Ray Charles' the other day.
Patriots of life such as Steve Biko, whom ever lost their life to save others from being oppressed is my hero, and there are many. As for musical heroes Ray Charles, he went through alot and came up on top, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, these guys knows the groove of soul.
