Courtesy of MsTags.comI've been through alot more than Lupus or Kidney failure. I want to also support all those women out there that have been physically, emotionally, and verbally abused. I can relate cause I have been through all of that. You get over it in your own way and move on with your life but you can never forget. There's reminders everyday in Movies and T.V. that show those horrific images of women being abused. Those images make me so angry that I change the channel everytime. My abuser made sure he made me feel as low as dirt. He kept my self-esteem very low. He used my Lupus against me by telling me "NO ONE WOULD WANT A SICKO LIKE ME AND A BALD GIRL LIKE ME" it was during the time I lost my hair cause of the lupus and the medication. I actually believed him around that time and I would cry cause I did think no one would want me ever cause I'm sick. He knows he's wrong now. There is someone that cares and accepts me for who I am with Lupus or no hair and kidney failure. You women out there are strong to overcome this. We need to fight back on men who do wrong to women. The most important step to do right now is leave your abuser before it's too late. When I finally left it was such a relief and feeling of freeness. No one to answer to, no more living in fear, and so much more happier and stress free. I know its not that easy at first,but you will realize one day "what am I doing in this hell" "I want to be happy and not waste this one life I have with this asshole". For all of you that have escaped from an abusive realtionship, much power to you. Never fall in that trap again. Find the right guy that will make you feel happy and safe. That one guy that will accept you for you.

I'd like to meet:
I would like to meet anyone else that is going through the same thing that I am going through. At this time I really don't know anyone that has Lupus. I usually keep to myself but I am ready to meet others that will understand how I feel. Others around me don't understand cause they don't have Lupus and will never know how it feels to have it. The pain, the depression, the hairloss, and the feeling of tiredness that can be so much sometimes and etc... I deal with it one day at a time and thats all we can do for now until they find a cure.
