The culmination of 18 years of designing and creating clothing and accessories for men and women, UsThemWe is the unique creation of designer Jennifer A. Lopez. Having been educated at both Ryerson Polytechnic University and George Brown College, she emerged with a drive and vision to bridge the gap caused by an over saturation of sub cultural images in the mainstream. With the belief that only through the redefining of the nature of subculture can it progress, she has endeavored to break free from the inherent limitations of genre. UsThemWe spotlights designs that focus on finding a unique quality while remaining relatable and wearable. She worked retail for the last 12 years specializing as a Visual Merchandiser. She has also freelanced as a wardrobe stylist for the last 5 years.
Never one to embrace mass production, Jennifer Lopez is dedicated to making custom one of a kind products that are made to measure and fashion forward. She personally oversees every aspect of the business, and collaborates closely with other artists to make her product as high quality as possible.
In her own words, “I design with the subversive person in mind, redefining subculture and making it my own. I believe in the DIY mentality and stand true to it. I create each piece as an individual.”
