A Quote On A Art Mural In NYC I Liked: "PROVE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, NOT YOUR CAPACITY."

We are an online gay publication where our motto is "Making a positive impact in the gay community. Make yours." We seek to educate, inform and entertain our audience, while encouraging to give back to the nonprofit community, to be socially-conscious and encourage others to make their impact while having fun!

OUT IMPACT MISSION STATEMENT:
Out Impact, Inc. is an gay omnimedia company for both gay men and women with a strong focus on making a positive impact in the gay community. Out Impact, Inc. is committed to excellence by informing and entertaining our audience while giving back and having fun!
Out Impact was launched June 2007 and is currently a online gay publication on OutImpact.com. Out Impact produces events benefiting various non-profits all over the country. Out Impact is a unique brand because we give every aspect of our progressive company a philanthropic connection, as well as marketing to both gay men and women, instead of marketing to a specific niche in the gay community. Our brand advantage is appealing to the entire gay community, raising awareness for philanthropy causes as well as providing quality content that is easily accessible to everyone on entertainment, style, news in our community, and everyday life for both gay persons and their allies.

Causes We Support:
Incredibly moving by Lisa Marie Presley, and her father, Elvis. For those of you who don't know, LMP has a strong gay fan base that she is proud to have. On a personal note, OutImpact's CEO, Bambi Weavil, has had the pleasure of meeting her on three different occasions, and she's an incredible, sincere and beautiful person.
Lots of truth in this one video about the state of the world, when the world needs to hear it and SEE it. If you download it on ITunes for $1.99 (cheaper than a movie ticket and a meal!) - Proceeds go to the Presley Charitable Foundation benefiting homeless families in New Orleans. More details: http://lisapresley.com/philanthropy/pp_nola/pp_nola_1.html
We are also going to see what we can do in the future with OutImpact and New Orleans, as homelessness has become a unconscious theme for us this year. If you are currently in New Orleans and want to get in talks about what we can do together, drop us a message.

Non-Profit Spotlights:
Twin Tiers Pride: The GLBT-Straight Alliance of the Twin Tiers :We spotlight the Twin Tiers Pride from NY and PA and the work they are doing!

Music:

The True Colors Tour!, Rufus Wainwright, Lez Zeppelin, Mark Ronson, Everything,we'd love to review yours! Recent Reviews Include:
Megan McCauley: Our Chosen One
Simply put, my favorite artist of 2007 is Megan McCauley. Strong, blunt, sexual and talented - there's no reason why this woman shouldn't be blasted everywhere and not be in the same category of strong musical artists like Pink and Lisa Marie Presley. Better Than Blood could be considered my "baby" album of this year.
Lez Zeppelin
Mark Ronson's Version
Ledisi: Knows How To Bring "It" :Bambi Weavil reviews a outstanding album called Lost & Found by Ledisi which is full of optimism, soul and sexiness on relationships and life, from a exceptionally good artist. The word "good" is thrown around often, but this artist truly is.
Lez Zeppelin: Be Proud, Rock Hard :Bambi Weavil interviews the one and only, Lez Zeppelin, one of the hottest bands on the scene today about their new album, and their world domination, one Led Zeppelin song at a time. We believe them and are ready to rock hard with them! And wouldn't you like to know what turns on these talented musicians (and hot women)? We have a whole lotta love for Lez Zeppelin.

Terese Genecco: Focused, Out and Doing It Proudly! Bambi Weavil interviews out performer Terese Genecco about her tribute to Frances Faye, her performances that have been putting people on their feet in celebration, her "Drunk With Love" CD and much more! We are in love with Terese and we hope that you will be too.
Annie Lennox - Songs Of Mass Destruction Annie blows minds again with her amazingly personal release about the state of the world and what we can do about it called Songs of Mass Destruction. Bambi Weavil reviews Annie Lennox's latest album.
will.i.am - songs about girls
LeAnn Rimes - family

Movies:

we'd love to review yours!
Juno
- Independent Charm : Our interview with openly gay filmmaker and MySpace sensation, Matt Riddlehoover!
Miles Christian Daniels - Bringing The Truth Out
"The idea was to make a documentary about drag queens without a lot of sensationalism. Most movies about drag queens portray their lives as infested with drugs and alcohol. None humanized who these people are and tried to explore their true feelings. I wanted to change that." - Director Miles Christian Daniels, on why he made Dixie Queen.
The Gay Bed & Breakfast of Terror - Home Away From Home? :How do five gay couples handle mincemeat muffins and pre-party at Sahara Salvation Bed and Breakfast Inn? Bambi Weavil reviews the sharp The Gay Bed & Breakfast of Terror.
Ebony Chunky Love: B*tch can't get a date! Review :Ebony Chunky Love is a incredible story about the first openly gay African American personality on satellite radio (Sirius OutQ In The Morning), and comedian, Keith Price. Not only is he funny, but he's charming, and this movie takes you where most don't - a real story of a mixed-race gay man who knows how to have fun and keep laughing.
