About Me

Through highly effective grants and projects, made possible by the generous support of our donors, Crusaid is determined to make a lasting difference to the quality of life of people affected by HIV and AIDS.

Enabling people to obtain and retain their dignity, health and independence is at the heart of all we do.

Crusaid manages the Crusaid Hardship Fund, as well as a domestic and international project portfolio with a current focus in Africa.

Crusaid's Walk for Life

Dannii Minogue, Alan Cumming and 4 Poofs & A Piano joined thousands of walkers on Sunday 1st June to support for people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS.

Crusaid’s Walk for Life , still Europe’s largest fundraising walk for HIV, has so far raised over £175,000 for some of the poorest and most marginalised people affected by HIV and AIDS in the UK and Africa.

Kicking off at 12pm walkers snaked through London past attractions including Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Big Ben and the London Eye. After crossing the finishing line and receiving medals and goodie bags walkers enjoyed massages, a BBQ and family entertainers before settling down for a stage show featuring acts including 4 Poofs & A Piano.

Everybody is welcome, which is what makes Crusaid’s Walk for Life a great day out as well as our most important fundraiser of the year.

You can register your interest in volunteering in 2009 today by emailing Crusaid's Walk for Life team or calling 020 7539 3880.

We hope to see you next year for Crusaid's Walk for Life 2009!

Step forward and make a difference!
