The Chamber empowers its members with the opportunity to offer their products and services to other Chamber membersMISSION STATEMENT To advocate, promote and facilitate the success of Hispanic & Non-Hispanic businesses"The NYCLGBTCC mission is accomplished by the following:Implementing and strengthening national programs that assist the economic development of LGBT Hispanic & Non-Hispanic firms;Increasing business relationships and partnerships between the corporate sector and Hispanic-owned & Non-Hispanic businesses;Promoting international trade between Hispanic Non-Hispanic businesses in the United States and Latin America;Monitoring legislation, policies and programs that affect the Hispanic & Non-Hispanic business community;Providing technical assistance to Hispanic & Non-Hispanic business associations and entrepreneurs.ABOUT NYC LGBT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INCIn 2004, several dedicated Hispanic leaders realized the enormous potential of the Hispanic business community as well as general non-hispanic business in the New York City area and envisioned the need for gay/lesbian organization to represent its interests before the public and private sectors. the following year, the NYC LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NYCLGBTCC) was incorporated in the state of New York City, creating a structured organization aimed at developing a business network that would provide the Hispanic & non-hispanic community with cohesion and strength. Since its inception, the NYCLGBTCC has worked towards bringing the issues and concerns to New York City area & outside of NYC on Hispanic-owned businesses & non-hispanic to the forefront of the national economic agenda.The Chamber has enjoyed outstanding working relationships with international Heads of State, Members of Congress and the current White House Administration. Through its network of more than 150 local Hispanic Chambers of Commerce & non-hispanic and business organizations, the NYCLGBTCC effectively communicates the needs and potential of Hispanic & non-hispanic enterprise to the public and private sector in several ways including:- Implementing and strengthening national programs that assist the economic development of Hispanic & non-hispanic firms;- Increasing business relationships and partnerships between the corporate sector and Hispanic-owned & non-hispanic businesses;- Promoting international trade between Hispanic & non-hispanic businesses in the United States and Latin America;- Monitoring legislation, policies and programs that affect the Hispanic & non-hispanic business community; and Providing technical assistance to Hispanic & non-hispanic business associations and entrepreneurs.Annual Legislative Conference. In the coming year we joining the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, (USHCC) where USHCC is working on the conference provides chamber members, Hispanic business leaders, and corporate executives the opportunity to discuss legislative policy issues that impact the small business community. Hispanic & non-Hispanic chamber executives also utilize this opportunity to meet with their Congressional representatives. In addition, every two years, the USHCC issues its Legislative Policy and Priorities to the White House and Congress.

The Chamber cannot carry out its mission to promote Hispanic Businesses & non-Hispanic in the Bronx & out of the Bronx without the personal and financial support of its members. 7. Chamber Members can participate in Diversity Programs on the Corporate, State and National level. 8. Chamber Members have access to various business certifications at huge discounts. 9. Chamber Members have access to Certifications with the NYS and the NY-NJ Purchasing Council. And SBA for the 8A Certification. 10. The Chamber will give access to group discounts and savings from credit card processing to health coverage and more. 11. The Chamber Membership dues facilitate the Youth Entrepreneurship Programs, such as our Internship and Scholarship programs. Thus empowering our future Hispanic Business & non-Hispanic Entrepreneurs.
