Huh? I'm just here for the bands.

About Me

UPCOMING PERFORMANCES:
TBA
HINT:
"With Patricia's passionate voice and Megan's [Mirvana] superbly crafted violin, "Patricia Wake" are an act worth spending time with..." - Martin Bowes of Attrition

I play violin for an experimental-electronic-ambient group known as Nyarlathotep, The Crawling Chaos--that's a reference to the works of HP Lovecraft and the Cthulu mythos. I also back up singer-songwriter Patricia Wake, and I've sat in with local bands such as Ishtar, Bonfire Night, and the Wild Geese, to name a few. If you need a violin arrangement with an exotic flavor, or a melody that just weeps melancholy, I'm your man.

Some highlights from my music career:July 2006 - (with Nyarlathotep) opened for The Brides July 2007 - (with Nyarlathotep) opened for Attrition at The Rex Theatre Aug. 2007 - (with Nyarlathotep) featured in an "Electronic music showcase" at the Sphinx lounge Aug. 2007 - (with Nyarlathotep) opened for Android Lust at Cyber Wars, Pegasus Nov. 2007 - (with Patricia Wake) opened for The Last Dance, Pegasus Feb. 2008 - (with Patricia Wake) featured at Jeff Mach's Wicked Faire, Edison, NJ. March 2008 - (with Patricia Wake) opened for Baby Dee @Frick Fine Arts Auditorium April 2008 - (with Patricia Wake) opened for Voltaire and Ego Likeness at Pegasus
I also teach bellydance classes in the Pittsburgh area. I studied tribal fusion dance for the past seven years.
My other interests include airsoft, Pennsic (SCA), independent film, photography, sewing, costuming, corsetry, knitting, karaoke, and trying new things.
I'm mostly here just for the bands, but meeting new people is good. I'm not real good about keeping up with the bulletins and messages here, so contact me directly if it's timely or urgent.
"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." - Hunter S. Thompson
