About Me

That's right! The brand-spanking new Daniel GreenWolf MySpace Page is better than ever! Everyone who is a friend on this list can best be described as "Those going to a Special Hell with Me".
If you, by chance, have run across my page and, because you've seen me live, heard about me, or wish to randomly stalk me, and want to be added to my list... GREAT! After all, nothing says love like a restraining order!
But on a more sincere note... if you wish to be added, drop me a message and tell me where you've seen me, heard about me, etc. I'm a self-promoting whore, but even I have standards. And if I cant place you and you don't respond... yer out!

So... more about me... me me me... I have been performing magic and the sideshow arts for about eleven years. I've performed all over the Northeast and will continue to go out further and further until my freckled hands grip the jumblies of the ENTIRE WORLD! BWHAHAHAHA...

...sorry... got carried away... anywho...
The title that I use is Bardic Magician, which means I tell stories, sing songs, write poems, act, and of course, perform magic. My goal is to combine them all so that I'm not another narcoleptic, bumblephynn in street clothes just doing "tricks" because "I'm so damned cool". I have the slightly idealistic persuit of perform magic that means something to people. I don't know if I am able to do it all the time, but I think that every once in a while, it makes sense.
I am very grateful for everyone who has joined this page to support me and I will always try to put the fans first and foremost because without you, I have no career what so ever! I love every one of you.
For those who somehow found me here first and didn't see my website can learn all about me at:
www.GreenWolfMagic.com
I also have a livejournal, which can be found at:
http://danielgreenwolf.livejournal.com/
There are multiple private entries that you can only see if I add you as a friend. So, if you really want to go that deep, drop me a line.
Daniel GreenWolf: Magic that Transcends Time
This is an interview I did on Magick TV (found at www.MagickTV.com )
After seeing this online, I felt it sums up me, my fans, and every member of my family. Watch... and learn of those going to a special hell with you.

My Interests

Magic, Bizarre Magic, Magick, Renaissance, Renaissance Faires, Sideshow, Poetry, Theatre, Acting, Singing, Directing, Writing, Music, Fight Choreography, Martial Arts, Tang Soo Do, Capoeria, Celtic, Theology, Philosophy, Illusionists, Photography, Wicca, Paganism, Polytheism, Freakshow, Spirits, Vampires, Zombies, Werewolves, RPGs, D&D, John Kovalic, Frank Cho, Kevin Smith, Comics, LARP, movies, video games, plays, musicals, fire, pyrotechnics & animals (not combined).

I'd like to meet:

Obviously anyone who has seen my show and liked it because I'm a self-promoting whore.
If you don't like my show, then I quote Joss Whedon:
"Now is a time for quiet. Its a a time for months of silent contemplation."
But in all honesty, any fellow magicians, sideshow folks, performers, actors, and anyone else who never "got a real job". We are those special folks who realize that the world isn't nearly as interesting as it can be and we find ways to add that little spark. Those are the people I'd love to meet.

Music:

Many and Varied...

Movies:

Many of those. I'll list a few great ones: Anything Mel Brooks, Anything by the Marx Brothers, Braveheart, Gladiator, The 13th Warrior, Rounders, Shade, The Thomas Crown Affair, Serenity, Batman Begins, The Alien Quadrilogy, Star Wars (even with the advent of Episode 1), Star Trek, LOTR (of course), recently Thank You For Smoking, The Illusionist, & The Prestige. Recently loved Charlie Wilson's War and Cloverfield. There are many more but if you're still reading after this point, you're pretty much glazed over anyway. ;-)

Television:

So much... so much... I am a Joss Whedon follower through and through and consider myself very much a "Browncoat" for those shiny enough to know what that means. So, Firefly, Angel, Buffy (in that order), Star Trek: TNG & DS9, M*A*S*H, Law & Order, CSI, Supernatural, Smallville, Anything Aaron Sorkin so The West Wing, Sports Night, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, anything on G4, Deal or No Deal, Jeopardy, Mythbusters, Good Eats, American Gladiators, WWE, Cirque du Soleil: The Fire Within, American Idol (yeah, I admit it), Hell's Kitchen, Inside the Actor's Studio, House, Scrubs, Family Guy

Books:

Alot... books on magic, marketing, the renaissance, fantasy, science fiction, etc etc etc. Recently Read:
Never Have Your Dog Stuffed (And other things I've Learned) by Alan Alda
The Secret Life of Harry Houdini: The Making of America's First Superhero by William Kalush & Larry Sloman
Cirque Du Soleil: The Spark - Igniting the Creative Fire that Lives Within Us All by Lyn Heward & John U. Bacon
How to Survive a Horror Movie by Seth Grahame-Smith
So far, I give my highest reccomendation to all of them, along with the comics "Dork Tower", "Knights of the Dinner Table", "PvP", "Liberty Meadows", and anything Batman

Heroes:

Jeff McBride- A magician who, after seeing him on TV eleven years ago, got me into magic in the first place.

Kevin Smith- His movies are excellent, his comics are cool, and he is inspiring to big men everywhere.

Guy Laliberte- The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cirque Du Soleil. This guy was a stilt walker and fire-eater and now owns a 1.2 Billion Dollar industry that follows his vision of art. How can I not be inspired?

Meat Loaf- Again, another life story that I was inspired by (and, before I grew the goatee, often got compared to) and good to see him not stopping. Just an amazing person.
