Una De Luna is proud to emerge from Pittsburgh with it's unusual sound and approach to creating music.
What makes this band so unique is the fact that it started out as a strictly studio project with no intentions to perform live.
After recording the opening track for Carmillas Kiss, an independent horror movie, Marla Degenhardt (vocals ex Cat Ballou and Electra Loves Daddy) and Peter Guellard (guitars, keyboards, programming) were forced "happily" to take their project live to promote the movie release.Peter who fronted local industrial rock band Mace, brought into the line up his old band mates: A.T.Vish (also ex Thickhead Grin and Lowsunday) on drums and Mark Urbano on the bass.Una De Luna's unique music mix incorporates electronica, trip hop, symphonic atmospheres and elements of Indian music.
