About Me

Over my years of experience in the concert touring industry I have functioned in almost every capacity from the stage to the accountant's office, ultimately acquiring the skills and knowledge needed to keep a recording project focused and on track. ToolsForMySpace.comFollowing my education as a music production major at Berklee College of Music in Boston, my attention immediately focused on live sound and live recording, working with entertainers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I grew up and currently reside. I have been fortunate enough to work for some successful artists, and over time these situations grew into my career as an audio professional. From the earliest days I can remember, I was always fascinated with what you can do with a tape recorder. I remember discovering vari-speed on my own by opening up a cheap cassette deck out of curiosity and turning a little screw near the motor. The thing started to change pitch and speed right in front of me. I don't know why, but I thought this was a very clever trick ! It wasn't until I was enlightened by the Beatles and George Martin that I appreciated what I had discovered. I have always had some sort of recording setup and through the artists I have worked with, had the pleasure of being part of their recording projects. The goal of this studio is to provide a comfortable environment for the Artist to create, without the distractions usually associated with the recording environment. The studio offers a good balance of the "old school" approach to recording as well as the advantages offered by modern technology.
