About Me

Ivins and the Popetarts have been playing Jam/Blues/Alternative/Groove/Rock around the Pittsburgh, PA area for around 5 years. They have most recently played at the famous Moondog's in Blawnox, PA. They have two CD's out at the moment: Prism (2006) and Tarts and Crafts (2007). The Popetarts feature a large arsenal of musical style and variety. Instruments used go from the classic Guitars, Bass, Drums to include Harmonica, Mandolin, Sitar, Tablas, Djembe, Didjeredoo, and more. It is hard to compare the Popetart sound to anything else, as they use a very unique blend of styles to create something truly unique. The mix of driving rhythm, ripping solos, and intricate vocal stylings make for a great listen. Be sure to check them out at upcoming shows and contact the band for merchandise! Rock on.
