Influences: IT's HOUSE MUSIC!!!!!--Everything and anything! Back2Basics (There's only one Dave Beer!), Technique, Asylum, Renaissance, Shindig, Global Underground, Tito's (Palma) at 5am on a monday morning! Space terrace (Ibiza) at 2pm with your arms in the air as a plane goes over! Chuff Chuff at 8am on a Monday morning when your arms won't go any where!, Mambo at sun set, talking s**t at sun rise (too many times!), Audio Therapy, Super Conductor, Mint Club (there's only one Val!), Glastonbury Dance Tent in 6" of Mud, Pacha, Mixmag, The Red Zone, Hernan Cattaneo, Steve Lawler, Javi Cannus, Steve Parry, Adam Freeland, Dave Seaman, Timo Maas, Eric Prydz, Nick Warren, Armand Van Helden, Radio Soulwax, Ferry Corsten, Surgeon, John Digweed, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, Danny Howells, Guy Gerber etc etc
Sounds Like: Quality House Music! With a guest book listing names such as Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Lexicon Avenue, Barry Gilbey, Audio Therapy, Renaissance, Cannus, Jim Ryan, Ken Fan, Lewis Boardman, Scott Bradford, Leigh Lerwell, A Man Called Foz, Skin Deep, Chris Kitchen, Marcus Kitchen, Steve Platinum all the others (sorry!) and residents Steve Parry, Darius Syrossian & Kyle Marshall i think its obvious we're very serious about the music.
We are also serious about people enjoying themselves at the events and look to create a relaxed atmosphere. Thats why most of the DJ's fall out of the DJ booth unable to walk after their set as they have pushed themselves to the limit to create an 'atmosphere'!!!!
Innerstate Presents is based 'loosely' around a Progressive/ Deep/ Tribal House music policy but where do you place a boundary and would you want to? With so many quality DJ's and producers around at the moment music is changing and moving direction all the time which can't be a bad thing for the customer? If we book a DJ who has spent time building his reputation and profile and who the customers have come to listen to we're not going to pick his tunes for him! If he feels the need to drop something different into his set then thats fine, as long as the customers are happy he's doing what we're paying him to do.
Record Label: A few minor offences in the name of House Music!
Type of Label: None
