About Me

ACROSS BORDERS - ITALYAfter highly successful forays into both Greece and the Netherlands, the third installment of Audio Therapy's 'Across Borders' series now turns it's attention to the evergreen hotbed of house music production talent that is Italy.Always at the forefront of the house music since the explosion of the late 80's and has been well represented throughout the evolution of the scene right through to the current day.The sheer amount of artists/Dj's and producers we were able to approach for this CD was rather overwhelming to say the least but we were not daunted in our quest. We have included exclusive music from the true Italian Masters of Joe T Vannelli and Claudio Coccoluto along with other renowned names such as Dino Lenny, Santos and Francesco Farfa to the more recent names of differentGear, Daniele Tignino and Alex Dolby as well as the young blood of Nufrequency and Niki B & Christian E.F.F.E.As with the previous releases the DJ Friendly CD will be unmixed and feature all 10 tracks in their full glory with a digital only version mixed by Dino Lenny to go online on the same date. There will also be a very limited edition vinyl sampler featuring 4 of our favourite tracks.Mille Grazie. SPRING/ SUMMER EDITION 2007We love it when a plan comes together and plans rarely come together as perfectly as the Audio Therapy Spring Summer '07 sampler. One of our New Years resolutions here at Therapy Towers was to shake things up a bit and breath some new life into our already pretty healthy roster.Featuring 10 exclusive tracks and left unmixed the CD and 4 track Limited Edition 12" vinyl both showcase some of the hottest names in the electronica scene at the moment. It was decided that for the third instalment of this rapidly flourishing series that we would only sign brand new material from artists that had not had any previous connection with the label and if we do say so ourselves, boy did we deliver!A truly international affair, we present 10 exclusive tracks from around the globe from some names you will know and others you will not. Australia, Denmark, Holland, Israel, Italy, Romania and the UK are all represented creating a beautiful collection that explores virtually every corner of electronic house music and then some. This is a CD that refuses to be pigeonholed, compiled with tender loving care and wears it's heart on it's sleeve. We hope you enjoy it as much as us.TracklistingATCD71.Neil Quigley & Nick Muir Feat. Nadine Khouri - Feedback From The City (Vocal Mix)

HABERSHAM Outside The Box EP Released 19.02.07Habersham first stepped into the spotlight on our Therapy Sessions Volume 1 compilation with the classic 'Transparent Sound' and quickly followed that with the sublime double header of 'MEHS' and 'Dryspell'.He is an artist that refuses to be pigeonholed and returning with this 5 track EP he expertly showcases his diverse production talents, fusing many genres and winning himself a huge cross-section of support. If twisted electronica of a slightly nervous disposition is something that you, in any shape or form, like to enter your stratosphere, then this is EP is definitely for you. From the slightly warped main room action of 'Aceide' to the cinematic oriental beauty of 'Hours' and the uneasy schizophrenic twitchiness of 'Where's my Guitar?', Habersham makes soundscapes that might even make Tom Yorke feel a little squeamish.ln fact, quite simply, it's the best thing to come out of America since the news of George Bush's humiliation at the mid term elections. The boy's got class and then some.Enjoy.TRACKLIST WITH AUDIO SAMPLESAceide

We warmly welcome Shlomi Aber to the Therapy roster with the release of his rather excellent 'Tel Aviv Garden' which has been topping most DJ's charts since our promo mailout. With a hot remix from Group Therapy along with Shlomi's original, Twisted Dub and a very handy DJ tool we are mighty pleased with this package and the reactions so far indicate that its been a major hit on a lot of dancefloors all around the globe.

Exploding into our hearts during the summer with the sublime 'Sea of Sands'
which he recorded with his fellow Israeli compatriot Guy Gerber and released on Sven Vath's Cocoon imprint, he then cemented his burgeoning reputation with 'Something New/Inspiration' for Desyn Masiello's Alternative Route label.
But with the greatest respect to the aforementioned, here at Audio Therapy we happen to think we've just scooped his best work to date with his homage to his home city, 'Tel Aviv'.

In turn sounding classic but yet still very contemporary, this beautifully crafted piece of house music has already become a main feature of most peoples sets over the last couple of months and the results have been phenomenal. This my friends, is what we call a 'Big Tune'. Judge for yourselves, we don't think you'll be disappointed.

FEDERICO EPIS
Brasilia

There's been quite a wave of electronic music talent sweeping out of South America in the last couple of years of tsunami like proportions. Brazil have given us the likes of CSS and Gui Boratto, Chilean exiles Luciano and Villalobos and Argentinian superstar Hernan Cattaneo to name but a few. Now it's a Uruguayan who's star is most definitely in the ascendency, Federico Epis. After only starting to make electronic music a mere 4 years ago he's already caught the eye of some of dance music's high flyers counting the likes of Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and our own Dave Seaman amongst his many admirers. Infact, it was Sasha who first jumped on the track you have here the barnstorming "Brasilia" when he played it on his Radio 1 Essential mix live from Amnesia, Ibiza. From there Audio Therapy quickly snapped it up and sought remixes from two more upcoming talents rapidly gaining reputations for themselves as "one's to watch".Firstly, out of Italy, Robytek turns in a techier and all round grittier mix with its Bladerunner-esque bassline, which looks set to further the hype surrounding this super hot new producer following on from the success of his single "Sun" on Rebirth . AMB of Chi Recordings fame provides the second remix and takes the track in a much more driving direction with cascading melodies and sonic washes giving a clear indication of what can be expected of him in the near future. Quite a varied package, we're sure you will agree. We hope that there is something that tickles your fancy.DIGITAL ONLY RELEASE:Tracklisting:1. Brasilia Original Edit 2. Brasilia Robytek Edit 3. Federico Epis AMB EditNick Muir is a man who needs no introduction but being the kind of generous, caring label we are, we're going to give him one anyway. As one half of the legendary production team, Bedrock (with John Digweed), he's given us some of dance music's enduring classics such as 'For what you dream of', 'Heaven Scent' and 'Santiago' as well as remixing for the likes of Underworld and New Order. On top of that, he's also found time to release a string of successful tracks in his own right including most recently the floorshaking 'Earthquake' and the sublime 'Feedback from the city' which he produced with Neil Quigley for our very own Spring/Summer 07 Sampler and is now forthcoming on Urban Torque. All of which brings us neatly to the here and now and the the track we have here, 'G Platz' which we happen to think is possibly his finest solo outing to date. The original is an absolute stonker of a tune with its full on drug induced hypnotic groove, perfect for those 4am mashed dancefloor moments layered with techy synth lines, scattered voices and sweeping melodies. Think the terrace at Space or DC10, this is proper heads down at the front music. Fresh from the release of their debut artist album on Sven Vath's Cocoon label, Pig & Dan provide a remix which takes the key elements of the track and give it a more techier and tougher edge which carries all the hallmarks of their sound. Also on remix duty is Bedrock resident and Urbantorque A & R man Neil Quigley, who brings us a beautifully structured deep house mix full of warm synth's and deep gurgling sonics taking the track in a whole different direction altogether. Finally Nick has also provided an absolutely mental Reprise/DJ Tool for those that like to do cheeky edits or set intro's etc. So all in all - there is pretty much something for everyone in this package no matter what your taste. If not we recommend you go and get your ears checked!!DIGITAL AND 12" RELEASETracklisting:1. G Platz Original Edit 2. Nick Muir Reprise Edit 3. Pig & Dan Edit 4. Quigley Edit
