Well just to tell u a little about myself and my name is Linda. I got a few friends that call me Rocker chick gone Country....LOL
I've always loved the entertainment business from music to television. One day i hoped to have worked in it and got the chance to when a couple of actors from tv soap operas wanted fan clubs started. When they did i was lucky enought to be chosen to run the Canadian side for them. That was fun for a few years and met some cool people. But then being out of work for a few years that part ended.
Then country music was always played in my house...but in my teens thru the 80's i was into rock music...with the likes of BON JOVI #1, Whitesnake, Aerosmith etc.... Doing the club scene alot hangin out with the likes of Brighton Rock, Santers and many other friends who were in rock bands.... Up until a few years ago i got back into liking country music again. Started going to concerts and met some really great people. And if you were at the right place at the right time I got to meet some big named country artists. Right now i am with curb recording artist BLUE COUNTY and i am their Canadian Street team leader for their fan club and now for up and coming artist out of Nashville ANSEL BROWN!!! And one of my good friends who lives in Nashville works in the industry now I hope to be of help to her one day...... But got the chance a couple of years ago to go a country concert and had the chance to meet the winners of the 2005 Battle of the Bands across Canada, THE BAREBACKRIDERS. After going around the club circuit watching them play we became friends. And with the following they had I suggested starting a fan club. So when they decided to do that i was asked if i would do it and sure enough I run their fan club. I've met so many new friends....that another band GOLDENROAD (tribute to Keith Urban) and BLIND RIVER came along and was asked to help put together their message board do some promotion and now I'm President of their Fan Club...... So this is where i am today and I'm having alot of fun and meeting great people.!! So now they call me the Country Diva!...:)........................
