Hello,My name is Michelle Christman, I grew up in a small farming community in Iowa were there wasn't a whole lot to do but to work and dream. I always dreamed of moving to Nashville, TN and working in the Music business. After a lot of hard work, determination and family support I finally made the big move four years ago. Today, I manage and promote unsigned country artists as well as working with some really great Entertainment Companies around town. I have been taught a lot about the business by some great people in music world and always willing to learn more. You can never learn to much about this business. When you think you know everything about the business its time to get out of it.
The first artists I started working with is Curb/Asylum recording duo, Blue County. One of their hit singles was "Good Little Girls". I started and ran their fan club for over a year and helped put together their streetteam. I also traveled around the US with them and helped to promote them and their music.From there I ventured out on my own and started my own business and did artist development. Working with talented unsigned artists as well as working with signed artists.I have several years of experience working in the music entertainment world and being honored to work with some really great Entertainment companies and their artists.I am currently working with three amazing acts.. John Karl, Ansel Brown and Cutter Lee. I have also recently teamed up with a very close friend and an amazing songwriter, Rick Shadrick. Rick and myself are co-managing Dave Madison.Each one of these artist are so talented and amazing. John Karl, please take the time and check him out and listen to his music. John plays many venues around the U.S. and we are moving forward and getting ready to start pitching him to the labels. We are building John's streetteams. Tracey may be found on my top friends list.Ansel Brown, I was honored to been asked to come aboard with Ansel and IPAK Records several months ago. We have many things going on with Ansel. We are getting ready to start an awsome tour in '08. His current single has been released to radio called "Mines Bigger". Please call your local radio stations and request his debut single..Cutter Lee has an amazing on the edge southern-outlaw country rock sound. I met Cutter a few months ago and wasn't actually looking to take on a new project but after watching Cutter perform there was no doubt in my mind that he had something to offer to the music scene.As for my new partner, Rick Shadrick, Rick is not only a wonderful friend but an amazing songwriter. Rick has worked very hard for several years to get his songs heard and it has finally paid off. He has finally got a publishing deal and has one of his songs picked up and it will be recorded by a brand new artist that is about to come out here in '08.
