MySpace Layouts by Iron Spider
The Sound Advice DJs are two Sydney boys who met playing soccer together seven years ago. With both of them sharing similar interests such as getting loose, partying and laying down wicked beats its no wonder why they gel so well together. Comprised of Moxx and Steve Higgins, these two lads love their music, whether it be breaks, tech, electro, house, dnb or techno. The Sound Advice boys are definitely open to a whatever goes attitude behind the decks, yet still providing a set that flows and can suit any dance floor. After just over 4 years of mixing and 3 years of promoting their own party, the Sound Advice DJs have been regarded as energetic larrikins, with a fresh sound and a great ability to read a crowd. The boys hold down a residency at Break Inn@Chinese Laundry and have been ripping up dancefloors all over Sydney. This has resulted in the Sound Advice sets being notorious for clever programming, smooth mixing and high energy behind the decks. All this has resulted in the boys playing interstate, including a recent tour of WA in which the boys attracted record crowds. Also a recent mix on Australia's largest alternative radio station, Triple J is an indication of just how well the Sound Advice lads are doing. The boys have played alongside both locally and internationally renowned djs. Some highlights include supporting the likes of Chris Carter (UK), Elite Force (UK), Ils (UK), Paul Arnold (UK), Splitloop (UK) Nubreed, Phil K, Kriece, Blim (UK) and Karton. With the likes of Trentemoller, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Meat Katie, Chicken Lips, Steve Lawler and Elite Force as just some of their influences and inspirations, its easy to see why these two pack so much quality into their record boxes ready to unleash onto the dance floor in their own unique way.
