After 4 short years of exposing his best bits to the Sydney Club Scene, Synik has provided dancefloors with a strong dose of wobblefunkelectrocrunkandtechbiz.
For those less exposed to the finer details of the sub-genre saga of dance music that basically means he loves to throw down as much different music as he can find in his spare time.
Disco, nu-jazz and deep grooves, House Music - whether it be abstract, deep, quirky, boompty or just straight jackin’, through to rather techy business is what Synik prides himself on laying down at any given opportunity. His quick rise in the DJ community was brought about through a number of successes in local DJ Competitions, including a nomination into the 1st ever Heineken Thirst Tour in the NSW leg finding himself amongst the likes of Ben Morris and James Taylor only one year into his career.
Synik’s versatility has found himself playing at parties such as Undercurrents, Mumbo Jumbo, Monkey Tennis, Home, Kink, Smut and recently, Tank and Chinese Laundry. During this time, he has found himself supporting a number of touring acts from many different spheres of the music world including Trentemoller, Waajeed (Pied Pipers), Gene Farris, Kiko, Lawnchair Generals while warming up or closing down after Inland Knights, Da Sunlounge, The Littlemen, DJ Sneak , Honey Dijon, Slater Hogan and recently Matthias Tanzmann, Style of Eye and Joris Voorn
