About Me

..

Zadkiel are currently a three piece Alternative Rock/Indie band from Nottingham. They reformed early in 2007 after several different incarnations, They have produced 2 stunning Eps - Inverted Heaven and The Ethereal Fear, Fronted by singer songwriter Dan Heathcote, Zadkiel have been described as Nirvana meets Jeff Buckley.Hauntingly beautiful vocals and dystopian harmonies. Darkly euphoric, apocalyptic, cryptic and sensual. Blissed out alternative rock that mines the weird territory of H.R Giger and harnesses the vivid power of William Blake..s spiritual symbolism.__________________________________________________ ________

*** NEVERI - THE ETHEREAL FEAR ***
"A strong, deep rhythm section leads into the song before being balanced out with the higher tones of the guitar and delicate vocals. This mysterious introduction is followed by impressive vocals, creating a fairly intense atmosphere that continues throughout the relatively short song. With references to Christ, immortality and “the dark side”, the lyrics add significantly to the profound feel of the song." - Bex Bailey - LYRIC LOUNGE REVIEW------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------
