About Me

Tee C. Royal is the founder of RAWSISTAZ Literary Group which supports and promotes African-American authors and their work. It stands for Reading and Writing SISTAZ, originally created for women only. Under the RAWSISTAZ umbrella is RAWSISTAZ Online Book Club, The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers (TRR), our team of reviewers, RAW4ALL Literary Hang-Out , and several other initiatives. We also have local chapters in major cities across the United States. Very active in the literary community, Tee is a webmistress for several literary-related websites, a freelance reader, proofreader, reviewer and a literary agent. In addition to leading her own team of 15 reviewers, she reviews professionally for several online and print magazines, is a member of a host of literary organizations, and frequents literary conferences across the U.S. She is knowledgeable about the AA literary industry and prides herself on Keeping you In the Know regarding the African-American Literary Community." In her former "real job" she was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, specializing in the fields of Software Development and Project Management. Tee resides in the suburbs of Atlanta with her husband and daughter. My Interests

Reading, writing, solving Sudoku and cryptogram puzzles, volleyball and racquetball. I also enjoy travelling (when it's not too hot) and spending time with my family. I'm a homebody. Last, but not least, I can't imagine not hanging out with my RAWSISTAZ (and Brothaz) fam via the RAWSISTAZ networks. I also enjoy trying to teach my little one (Miss Joy) how to read, cook, and clean-up. She is my Literary Diva in Training!

Movies:

My favorite movie of all time is The Shawshank Redemption. Loved it!!!

Television:

I don't watch very much TV, but when I get in a mood for it, I like shows like Stargate and The X-Files (sci-fi) or Law and Order and any type of crime show. My favorite of the bunch is Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, followed closely behing by Law and Order: Criminal Intent.

Books:

Gotta have em!! I'll list favorites later.
