While teaching bible study classes for almost 10 years to Christian singles at one of Louisville’s largest African American churches where she was a licensed minister, Tanya inspired men and women to boldly fulfill their destiny through cultivating healthy relationships with God, themselves and other people.
Tanya implemented this same philosophy in her career as a Special Education Teacher of middle school students for over 9 years. She continues to challenge all people to develop healthy relationships by confronting unresolved issues from the past, understanding who you are and what you want, setting relationship boundaries and expectations, calmly confronting conflict and engaging in effective communication.

In December 2005, Tanya’s pain, purpose and passion birthed another dimension of her destiny. To cope with the devastating death of her mother from lung cancer, she launched a weekly e-newsletter called Tanya’s Tips. Her mother’s death awakened Tanya to cherish and maximize every moment of life. After that tragedy, Jill Scott’s song “Golden†became her life theme. Through the Tanya’s Tips e-newsletter, Tanya empowers people to live the golden life by giving practical life Tips For Today That Will Transform Your Tomorrow! What started as a bi-weekly inspirational conversation with a 70 friends and community associates, exploded into a weekly dose of life changing impartation that currently is distributed internationally in 15 states and in London.
In May of 2006, Tanya started her company T.E.E.,, Time Worldwide Empowerment Group which is a personal and professional life development which focuses on transforming the lives through writing books, articles and newsletters, life success coaching, training and consulting. The company consistently promotes the T.E.E.,, philosophy-Truth, Empowerment and Excellence in all of it’s endeavor.
In May 2007, Tanya released her 1st book entitled How To Deal With A Difficult Woman: A Survival Guide For Dealing With The Wackiest, Wishy-Washy and Worrisome Women In Your Life. From the feisty females in your family to your obnoxious coworkers, this witty and insightful book serves as a pocket psychiatrist for times you are stressed out by the difficult women in your life.
In spring 2008, this relationship realist will release her sophomore project entitled 8 Simple Rules For Protecting Yourself From Unwanted, Unsatisfying and Unhealthy Relationships. In addition, Tanya will also be a co-author in 2 books for the women’s organizations she is affiliated with. They both will be released in the first half of 2008.
This woman on the move continues to set high standards and manifest results. It is no wonder why she was featured in the 2007 inaugural edition of The Who’s Who of Black Louisville directory. In 2002, Tanya was also nominated for a Today’s Woman Honoring Excellent Role Models award in the “Wise Woman†category. In 2003, she was featured in the Today’s Woman magazine article entitled Wise Decisions.
Tanya is the Communications Director for the Women’s Evangelical Network (W.E.N.) W.E.N. is a non-profit international organization that equips women to grow in their ministry by providing guidance through spiritual and intellectual development in their walk with Christ. Tanya also participates in other professional business organizations throughout her community. She is also a licensed minister.
Having many great influences and mentors such as her late parents, Joe and Erma White, Tanya attributes her birth as an author/writer to her life coach Valorie Burton who taught her to embrace vulnerability and to work on healing hurts of the past.
Tanya has a diverse educational background. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management-Human Resource concentration, Master of Arts Teaching-Learning and Behavior Disorders, Master of Science in Human Resource Training & Development

White Sr. (1944-1996) and the late Erma Jean White (1946-2005) taught her the importance of developing a strong moral character and professional work ethic, to value of education, generosity, unconditional love and helping those around you.
