Pyewackett's Mood: Absinthe-Minded
(Pyewackett's initial inspiration for this section was to update her mood/state of mind on a daily basis; however, she has been made aware that since the current Mood seems to continuously apply...well...er...)
'Pretend Portrait' of Pyewackett (re-interpreted by Pyewackett's Friend Gypsy Deva):
Albert Einstein said, "The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious." Taking her cue from Al, Pyewackett will remain a mystery - at least for awhile... (no, Pyewackett does NOT have The Mange nor is Pyewackett unseemly...however, Pyewackett is is not yet completely comfortable the public exposure of HerSpace)...________________________________________________
Pyewackett's Feelings Captured in the Words and Wisdom of Others...

"I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time." - Jack London

"The most visible creators are those artists whose medium is life itself. The ones who express the inexpressible - without brush, hammer, clay, or guitar. They neither paint nor sculpt. Their medium is simply BEING. Whatever their presence touches has increased life. They see, but don't have to draw...because they are the artists of being alive." - J. Stone

"Every Warrior of the Light has felt afraid of going into battle. Every Warrior of the Light has at some time in the past lied or betrayed someone. Every Warrior of the Light has trodden a path that was not his. Every Warrior of the Light has suffered for the most trivial of reasons. Every Warrior of the Light has at least once believed he was not a Warrior of the Light. Every Warrior of the Light has failed in his spiritual duties. Every Warrior of the Light has said 'yes' when he wanted to say 'no'. Every Warrior of the Light has hurt someone he loved. That is why he is a Warrior of the Light - because he has been through all this and yet has never lost hope of being better than he is."

PYEWACKETT'S INTERESTS
___________________
Pyewackett is fascinated by discoveries in quantum physics and beyond that seem to verify and connect creative consciousness with ancient esoteric practices that focused intention to create a desired result, thereby re-defining the traditional realm of magic as mental manipulation of quantum forces to reshape reality. __________________
Pyewackett never tires of reading about the mystery surrounding the Knights Templar...wondering what they discovered; studying the structures they built; and following the trail of the Order's destruction to determine who and what survived. _________________ __________________
Discovering links between ancient societies such as the Egyptians, the inhabitants of Central and South America and the Hawaiians continue to amaze...common words, customs, structures, and the appearance of the enigmatic tall, blue-eyed, white-robed, so-called civilizers that banned human sacrifice, and taught the principles of agriculture etc. __________________
Pyewackett is a long-time student of the development and inter-relationship between religions. _________________ _________________
Tracking the incredible mystery of the life of Jesus is a lifelong interest as is attempting to understand the enormity of the sacrifice He made. Pyewackett would love to discover whether he traveled to India; if he studied with an Indian Master; and if that instruction included learning to transmute and transform matter, healing the sick, and leaving his body (samadi). Pyewackett has observed her teacher Sri Sai Kaleshwara, who venerates Jesus as the Master of Masters or "The Big Boss", perform many 'miracles', and she wonders...(Pyewackett's new Friend L. Condor comments, "Yes Jesus did go to India and old writings about Yesua in Kashmir")... ___________________ __________________

Mars...what happened to the civilization there, and are we related? A Russian photograph clearly showed the ruins of a large city beneath the 'sands' of Mars. Shortly thereafter, the Bush administration quietly funded a new Mars initiative that was largely ignored by the press, and wasn't announced until after his State of the Union speach. Other initiatives followed from the European Union and Japan...too significant to ignore. Years ago Pye read a book called In Search of Om Seti...a fascinating account of a modern woman who could recall her life with an Egyptian pharoah in detail and later assisted archaeologists in reconstructing the enigma of Seti's temple site. In one of her dreams, her Egyptian pharoah took her on a tour of Mars that horrified her - she likened it to the scene of a nuclear holocaust. When Pyewackett saw the photograph of the Martian city, she remembered Om Seti's dream. ____________________ _________________ __________________
The history and evolution of the White Lodge mystery schools and their descendant organizations captured and kept Pyewackett's attention. ___________________
The Zodiac and Destiny ___________________ ___________________
"I will build the Zodiac - a secret mechanism in the stars, linked to unerring and inevitable fate. The lives of men, from birth to final destruction, shall be controlled by the hidden workings of this mechanism."And when the mechanism began to work, the keen-eyes goddess Destiny supervised and checked its movements. Through this mechanism, Destiny and Necessity are cemented together. Destiny sows the seed. Necessity compels the results. In the wake of Destiny and Necessity comes order - the interweaving of events in time.Few can escape their fate or guard against the terrible influence of the Zodiac - for the stars are instruments of Destiny which brings all things to pass in the world of men. If, however, the rational part of a man's soul is illuminate by a single ray of Atum's Light, the workings of these gods is as nothing - for all gods are powerless before the Supreme Light. But such men are few. Most are led and driven by the gods which govern earthly life, using our bodies as the instruments of Destiny To my way of thinking, however, it is our duty not simply to acquiesce in our human state, but, through intense contemplation of divine things, to detach ourselves from our merely mortal nature.
The Hermetica - Hermes Trismegistus _________________Thomas Jefferson, Pyewackett's favorite Rosicrucian, who said among other things, "The God who gave us life gave us liberty at the same time; the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them."- Thomas Jefferson (Rights of British America, 1774) ___________________ _________________The connection between the East Indian concept of mastery of the five elements to perfect the ability to heal and to transform and trasmute matter, and 'modern' earth/element-based belief systems is fascinating to explore. ______________________________________

As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly & clearly; listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the sprit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs for the world is full of trickery; but let this not blind you to what virtue there is. Many persons strive for high ideals and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees & the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudery and broken dreams it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy."- Max Ehrman ____________________ ___________________"Your beliefs become your thoughts; your thoughts become your words; your words become your actions; your actions become your habits; your habits become your values; your values become your destiny." - Mahatma Gandhi__________________ ___________________ ___________________ __________________ __________________THE BEAUTY AND POWER OF NATURE..._____________________________________"It's quite possible to leave your home for a walk in the early morning air and return a different person...beguiled, enchanted."- Mary Chase___________________"Adopt the pace of nature...her secret is patience".- Unknown___________________DESIRE...___________________"I gave myself up so completely to present desires and pleasures that I had no energy to waste on mere wishful thinking." - Simone de Beauvoir___________________

Television:

Boston Legal; I love Lucy; Three Moons Over Milford; The Highlander; Absolutely Fabulous (the British version of Lucy and Ethyl); Hart to Hart (because Pyewackett secretly believes in the legend of Prince Charming and the concept of living happily ever after, and because Bob Wagner is just as perfect in real life as he is in the role of Jonathan Hart); Perry Mason...thinking...(note: Pyewackett refuses to admit that she watches Desperate Housewives)...___________________

Books:

Pyewackett's favorite books and authors include the works of Ralph Waldo Emerson: everything written by Thomas Hardy (who puts man's relationship to the Earth in its proper perspective); Autobiography of A Yogi; House of the Spirits, and everything else written by Isabelle Allende; Dr. Quantum's Little Book of Big Ideas (you can learn to remember not only the past but the future); Gone with the Wind; The Historian (a brilliant new novel whose subject matter will surprise you); A Brief History of Time; the Harry Potter series; Fingerprints of the Gods; everything penned by Anne Rice, although sometimes Pyewackett feels like someone who is compelled to stare at the scene of an accident, and she can't put 'the @3#%&* book' down until she's finished it; Jane Austen's novels; Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil; The Outlander books by Diana Gabaldon (bodice-ripping novels with a time-travel component...what could be better?); the complete works of Oscar Wilde (wickedly wonderful); Time and Again; The Once and Future King; Little Women; Practical Magic, and everything else written by Alice Hoffman... ___________________

Heroes:

My incredible father who I reverently remember every day and who will always be in my heart; Ralph Waldo Emerson; Thomas Jefferson; Benjamin Franklin; Zorro (the man responsible for Pyewackett's penchant for black clothing and her secret desire to wield a sword); George Washington - he never gave up; Nelson Mandela - he never gave up; Winston Churchill - he never gave up, and authored the astute observation, "Man will occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time he will pick himself up and continue"; the Dalai Lama - he never gives up; the Stallone brothers...Frank, who, unlike anyone I have ever met, can talk about any subject for as long as you can stay awake, and Sly, who is making yet another 'Rocky' movie - clearly, he never gives up!_________________ __________________
