Fifth Secret started out as a 3 piece band way way back in the year of 2001 with the band consisting of drummer Rawnsley Eddie lead guitarist/singer Matt Enever and rhythm guitarist Ryan Gaine. The band was then soon joined by bassist Chun - Eu Man and also followed by keyboardest Karl Rowland. After the band got into the jist of there stlye, lead vocalist Matt felt it was time to hand over his crown as front man, and while he still remained in the band as lead guitarist the lead singer role was passed on to brand new!! member Dan Wiles.
After about a year of hard work in the practice rooms there first gig was offered to Fifth Secret in a little town called peacehaven in a place called the central club.
As Fifth Secret progressed, the songwrighting came to its climax as Fifth Secret hit it off with there first album. 'Road Kill'. Unfortunatly, shortly after the recording of the album keyboardest Karl Rowland felt it was time to step down and left the band in the early months of 2002. After the loss of Karl the band still remained strong and continued to write killer material for more up and coming gigs.
As the band began to play more and more gigs impressing more and more people at the begining of 2003, lead singer Dan Wiles left the band. The band then began to search for a new singer e.g holding auditions etc.. but then after almost giving up the band was then introduced to bands singer to this day Larissa Eddie. After the great new vocalist had given a certain yes to joining fifth secret, the band jumped strait back onto the gig wagon as they continued to write even more material.
After a long ride on the gig wagon rhythm guitarist Ryan got very inspired by another lead guitarist his age at the end of 2003 and then got on another wagon this time of learning. As the band continued to impress the lead guitar spot was soon replaced by Ryan Gaine leaving Matt to do rhythm. Sadly in christmas 2004 bassist Chun - Eu Man left the band due to work related issues, dont ask...But this didn't stop fifth secret though. There great name they had made for themselves helped them to find another bassist within a couple of weeks of searching.
Firstly fifth secret auditioned bassist Micheal Enever but the spot was permenantly filled by the bassist to this day Auriel Elphick. Shortly after the depature of Chun-Eu, also saw the sad depature of guitarist Matt Enever. The position was shortly filled by current rhythm guitarist Tarquam Elphick.
To this day the band still continue to gig and write and record there music, and who knows maybe one day there name will be in lights!
