THE CRAVE HEADLINE BBC AMERICA’S BRITBUS TOUR
It’s time to slam down the accelerator, and head for the highway because the BritBus is back and this year it’s bigger and better than ever. British-based rock craze The Crave are headlining BBC America’s BritBus tour and are set to take the US by storm, as they embark on the journey of a lifetime.
The pimped-out retro red double-decker bus will be making tracks from as far as San Francisco to New York, hitting 15 major markets and bringing the best in British music to the USA. The Crave’s eight-week tour is set to conclude back in the UK, as one of the acts that make up the Kent Music Festival on June 29th at Port Lymne Zoo alongside The Feeling and The Ordinary Boys.
With their radical rock sound and influences that include U2, Guns n Roses, Foo Fighters and Green Day, The Crave are already sparking huge amounts of interest in the UK.
Singer-songwriter and BritBus tour founder Julia Jones explains, ‘I wanted to be able to actually take a band with me this year rather than simply promoting their music on board our bus across America. I had heard about a band in Kent called The Crave. Their live show and original material was enough for me to make them an offer. Now let’s see if we can get them a record deal in America’.
The guys that make up the awesome foursome are Ryan Burnett (Vocals, Guitars), Carlos Garcia (Guitar), Tom Swann (Bass) and Dave Keeler (Drums). The Crave have spent the last year working with widely recognised producer Mark Flannery and Panic Room Productions. Flannery’s credits include Black Sabbath-Eternal Idol, Depeche Mode-Violator, Def Leppard-Hysteria to name but a few.
After assembling as a band in Brighton, The Crave’s hardworking ethics have created an accumulation of fans who flock to their live shows.
And that’s not all - their massive sounding EP ‘Bring It On’ is now available to buy online at www.thecrave.co.uk along with the DVD of their two recently produced live sessions, filmed at the ‘Show Me How To Play Studios’.
If that’s not enough; their newly recorded video ‘High’ directed by Callum Halliday, will help put The Crave on the rock launch pad ready for take off. It will also be available to buy online. Go get it!
