Hi ! I'm Chris Evans (22) a drummer from Gloucestershire, currently based in Brighton after studying at the highly acclaimed Brighton Institute Of Modern Music. I've been bashin' them skins since the age of 10 and have been working at honing my craft ever since I picked up a pair of sticks. My passion for the drums is unprecedented, and I've embarked on a musical mission moving to Brighton to meet and work with top class musical talents and people who work in the industry. Since Sept '05 I've been keeping busy recording and gigging with various bands and artists in Brighton and London, building up the reputation and experience it takes to be a professional freelance drummer./ / /I'm an experienced and accomplished drummer with a excellent standard of sight-reading and improvisational skills.

.. Corporate and private functions work/bands./ / / Musical Experience ---.. During my years playing the drums I've been active in many bands playing various styles of music. I've played hundreds of gigs to large audiences and played as a session drummer on many occasions... My most famed session was playing for Mark.E. Smith and The Fall in 2005 at the Bristol Beirkeller... I've played on several professional studio demo recordings and studio projects on music courses Ive studied. I've also worked with excellent producers and engineers such as Martin Nichols (Adequate 7, Five Knuckle), Noel Watson (Funeral For A Friend, GLC) and Mark Flannery (Def Leppard, Depeche Mode, Black Sabbath). These experiences have educated me greatly and given me a superior understanding of the workings of a studio and how to get the best out of my time creatively and professionally in recording and rehearsal sessions... From Jan 2007 to May 2008 I found myself at the drum throne of the hardworking D.I.Y skacoredeathpunk band Once Over. These guys gave me a great opportunity to travel the UK and tour mainland Europe very frequently, meeting great people, playing some of the craziest most explosive shows ever and many a boozy party along the way. In March of '07 I got together with some former college friends to form the incredible "The Deal Was For The Diamond", some of the most eclectic and enthusiastic bunch of musicians i've ever had the priviledge to perform and write music with.
