About Me

I have one of the most eclectic music collections out of anyone I know, take a listen...
I love people who are considerate, kind, and selfless. I think that everyone is equal and equally fragile (some are just better at hiding it) thus, we should treat each other with respect and kindness. My favorite number is eleven, my favorite color is blue, and I love singing while I drive (so I am one of those weird people you pass seemingly talking to no one.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF - The Survey
Name: Sandra D.
Birthday: 2-17-1983
Birthplace: Mohawk Valley, NY is the town I lived in as a child but it didn't have a hospital so I was born in...Herkimer? Ilion? lol
Current location: Lakewood, CO.
Eye color: Dark brown.
Hair color: Brown.
Height: 5'5"
Right handed or left handed: Right.
Your heritage: French/German/Dutch/Swedish
The shoes you wore today: Shoes for Crews.
Your weaknesses: Chocolate and romance.
Your fears: Spiders and cheaters.
Your perfect pizza: A margherita.
Goal you would like to achieve this year: I would like to be making enough money to be able to pay my bills and still set some aside.
Your most overused phrase on an instant messenger: "lol"
Thoughts when first waking up: "So, it WAS just a dream..."
Your best physical feature: My smile.
Your bedtime: Around 1am usually.
Your most missed memory: I miss bonfires in NY.
Pepsi or Coke: V-8 Fusion (^_^)
McDonalds or Burger King: Sushi.
Single or group dates: Single.
Lipton Ice Tea or Nestea: Fuze White Tea
Chocolate or vanilla: It depends on my mood.
Cappuccino or coffee: Homemade iced coffee that is delicious.
Do you smoke: I did for about 11 years but I quit in November of 2006.
Do you swear: Not usually, but I slip when really relaxed and talking about something that excites me or if I am really angry at someone who has betrayed or lied to me. Also I swear if I am singing the name game and I have to sing about Chuck or Tucker...
Do you sing: Yes, in the car, in the shower, in my room, in the grocery store, at work...lol...
Do you shower daily: Yes.
Have you been in love: Twice, the proof is in all the broken pieces of a heart clumsily glued back together.
Do you want to get a B.A.: Yes, I am almost done with an A.A. as soon as I go back to school. I took time off when my mother was feeling tired all the time (ended up being "the big C" so now I am taking care of her and their house while my dad is working and she is resting/in treatment). I look forward to returning to school very shortly.
Do you want to get married: Yes, hopefully I will meet someone to spend my life with but if that never happens I will be perfectly happy on my own, I know how to treat myself.
Do you believe in yourself: Absolutely.
Do you get motion sickness: Perhaps on a boat, I do not know having never been on any floating vessel, however I am fine in cars and on planes.
Do you think you are attractive:
Are you a health freak: Not really but I do keep myself educated about threats and myths and try to keep away from actual dangers.
Do you get along with your parents: Yes, I am very family-oriented but there are certainly disagreements to be had lol.
Do you like thunderstorms: Yes, but they terrify my dog.
Do you play an instrument: No, but I have learned how to play, and subsequently forgot, simple songs on several different instruments. I remember playing violin, cello, recorder, guitar, piano, clarinet, and a flute. I liked them all long enough to "master" one song then I wanted to "master" another instrument.
In the past month have you drank alcohol: Yes, I had a Blue Moon a week ago.
In the past month have you smoked: Nope, I quit smoking November something (I think 16th) 2006.
In the past month have you been on drugs: Yes, I admit to using marijuana for recreational purposes. Shame, shame. (^_^)
In the past month have you gone on a date: Yes, and we have so much in common. (^_^)
In the past month have you gone to a mall: Yes if you consider Belmar to be a mall, it's an outdoor mall I suppose.
In the past month have you eaten a bag of Oreos: No, but I have had some Oreo pudding recently... mmmmm...
In the past month have you eaten sushi: Yes, I have had two amazing in-home sushi dinners courtesy of someone super cool.
In the past month have you been on stage: No, but it would've been fun.
In the past month have you been dumped: Nope.
In the past month have you gone skinny dipping: Never.
In the past month have you stolen anything: No, I believe in karma and I learned my lesson when I was 18 or so. I've never stolen anything since then.
Ever been drunk: The last time I was wasted was my 23rd birthday and it's about to be my 25th.
Ever been called a tease: Not that I recall. (^_~)
Ever been beat up: No, I was in one fight ever in my life and it was after hours of being antagonized by this girl following me around this town. She slapped me and the rest of it is hearsay because I don't remember what happened after that. My friend told me I kicked some ass though and the way she ran away afterwards supports that story. So I guess the moral of the story is that even a nice, non-violent person like myself can be provoked beyond their limit.
Ever shoplifted: Yes.
How do you want to die: However I am destined to die.
What do you want to be when you finish school : Zoologist, caretaker of primates in a zoo somewhere, or researching them in the wild. Primates, learning and the mind are my biggest interests career-wise. So, anything that can incorporate those things will be ideal. I feel that we continue to underestimate animals and their intelligence so I want to be one of the people discovering how humans aren't really so superior. I believe we can learn a lot from animals. I also want to write a book at some point. I would also enjoy working with autistic children perhaps instead of zoology I will do that.
What country would you most like to visit: Japan.
In a boy/girl..
Favorite eye color: Kind.
Favorite hair color: Considerate.
Short or long hair: Dependable.
Height: Respectful.
Weight: Healthy.
Best clothing style: Suits! Men always look better in a suit, heart suits! The man inside the clothes is what's important though and I've dated several men who don't even own a suit.
Number of drugs I have taken: I couldn't count.
Number of CDs I own: A few hundred.
Number of piercings: Ears, tongue, and eyebrow but I only wear earrings these days.
Number of tattoos: None, I haven't ever wanted to have something on my body I can't take off. I can't even commit to one pair of shoes for the day let alone some picture on my body for 60 more years lol.
Number of things in my past I regret: Many, without regret nothing would feel like a mistake so how could you know better next time? If you keep doing the same things over and over maybe it's because you turned off your regret...
