Jonathan Lawson combines earthy lyrics, acoustic rhythm guitar, and dark jazzy melodies to transport audiences to his hometown near Mountain Grove, Missouri. This small-town boy has been turning some very influential heads since he stormed the stages of Silver Dollar City at the ripe age of four, playing mandolin and fiddle with his parents bluegrass band. By the time his 13th birthday rolled around he had mastered the violin, winning two state competitions and earning a full ride scholarship to Berklees Summer Jazz Program. This musically-eclectic 21 year-old also picked up pieces of acoustic rock fusion and specks of Delta blues on his quest for originality and has created a new level of fresh talent with his driving rhythms and thought provoking lyrics. Jonathan Lawson is sure to sweep the nation off its feet by bringing a current of musical pallor and increasingly magnetic performances.
