Who am I.......... I'm funny, and love all kinds of humor. I enjoy time to myself, time with family, and time with friends. I like to make Quilts as time allows... I have 3 adult children, whom are independant, self sustaining, whom I am very proud, 2 in laws (daughter/son), 1 grand daughter, and a partridge in a pear tree... I'm not into scary slasher movies. I love walking in the rain without an umbrella. I love being in the mountains, perferably fishing, but love to hike too. I love walking up and down the beach, gathering shells, barefoot. Only my ears are pierced, and I have no tats, nor do I need one. I don't usually wear makeup, and when I do it's minimal, lip stick, and or smidgen of shadow. I enjoy cards, pinochle,hand and foot and recently the game Rummy Royal, and board games. I'm very much a one man woman, and expect the same. I love day trips, weekend trips to the coast with friends, the zoo, looking at antiques, the last few games of football season, however, time has not allowed these simple pleasures, lately. I prefer mixed flowers, over roses. I love dancing in the kitchen, living room, bathroom, whereever the mood strikes me. I like all pets, with the exception of snakes, spiders. I'm not a bar hop/fly, I may occationally have a wine/ smirnoff ice with friends, or at dinner, however,smashed is not my idea of fun. Also....I'd like... to be pursued, not be the pursuer.... yes...I am bold....but that doesn't mean I have any desire to take the lead, man up....also I like the addressment "Darling" it was used to address me by a man once just saying "excuse me, darling", and I really liked it. If this is a term you use on a daily bases....then you have a little extra something to your character to offer someone special down the road. A friend of mine mentioned to me that,that sounds like something a Texan would say? Curious, very curious, does anyone besides men from Texas use the word "Darling" when addressing a woman? I also find that I like the endearment "mate" I have not had it used in my presents as I am not betrothed, but maybe someday it will be used towards me, maybe. FYI: With the weather turning a bit warm (air conditioning), relaxing with an iced tea and a great read, is contentful, almost as contentful as snuggling up with someone special on a lazy day with nothing on the agenda but enjoying each other. If your like me and are still looking for that special someone, I suggest a bit of iced tea, and a novel by Nora Roberts, Katie McCallister or a new author I enjoy is Lori Foster, contentment is sure to follow. I was recently noniminated for mother of the year....sweet! My granddaughter is a joy....However....all my kids have moved out of state now....that is a really weird feeling....... I very much go with the flow, and am spontanious.
