I am here for Friends

About Me

Hi. I'm married to the most wonderful woman in the world for 25 years. We have one daughter, who will be a college sophomore this fall, and an awesome young woman. We also have a charcoal gray tomcat with attitude named Smoky which we rescued from the animal shelter.
I have been in ministry most of my adult life and I continue to run this race to reach the finish linfe--heaven! The only way I can do that is through faith in Jesus Christ. I hope you know Him. If you don't, I would count it a privielege to share with you how I came to faith in Christ and show you how you can too. You can also check out this link to get more info:

I love the outdoors and run a lot...I have completed two marathons and two 1/2 marathons. I will be running in another couple of marathons this fall. I love whitewater rafting and going to the beach. I also enjoy working out at the gym. My wife and I enjoy traveling as much as possible...especially visiting our family in east Tennessee and Missouri, and our friends in France.
If you have similar interests, I would like to hear from you...I hope you will check out my website and request to be added to my list of friends. Hope to hear from you and perhaps make some new friends.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Jesus, face to face--and I will one day!! I've already met Him spiritually. Otherwise, I'd like to meet people who are real and who will challenge me to be the person I can be and to be the man of God I should be...

My Blog

Thanks, God

Happy Thanksgiving to you all.  This is one of my favorite holidays of the year because it has, by and large, remained uncommercialized.  The integrity of the holiday lends itself to a pure ...

Lessons from a Marathon

I told someone, running a marathon must be a lot like childbirth...right afterward you say, "I'll never do that again."  But then, time and the joy of the experience cause the pain to fade and yo...

Enough!

Enough! I'm not sure I know much about that.  I tend to go too far too often.  I sometimes don't know when enough is enough.  Now don't get me wrong, I'm not necessarily a narcissist......
