He is the Ghost of ROCK N' ROLL Future, I have decided "- Glen Jones- March 6, 05

About Me

As of June 10, 1972 my mother was 8 months pregnant with me when she and my father went to see Elvis at Madison Square Garden. By their accounts as "THE KING" launched into "C.C. Rider", my mother's maternity dress started twitchin' and a shakin' as I began to kick to the ROCK N'ROLL. Fast forward to Tuesday December 9, 1980. I was 8 years old and as I woke up to get ready for 3rd grade, I watched the terrible reports that John Lennon had been shot and killed the night before. At this point, I really didn't know who he was, except when I would shuffle through my fathers albums. I discovered and lost him all at once essentially. I saw all the footage of Beatlemania and heard the songs and the floodgates were opened. I grew my hair and ROCKED out on my Bee Gees guitar. I got "A Hard Day's Night" that Christmas. I wanted to ROCK N' ROLL!! In between 1972 and 1980 I was into of course Elvis, The Bay City Rollers, The Beach Boys, Kiss, and listening to Cousin Brucie & all the oldies on CBS FM. By 1981 I was aware of some who came before and was ready to move on. Then came "Back In Black" -AC/DC, "Shout at the Devil"- Motley, "Pyromania" - Def Leppard, "Master of Puppets"- Metallica...I became obssessed with the music of my time. Today I am into so many different types of music, been in many different bands, and constantly go to concerts. I'm slaving to the 9-5 like the rest of the world. I am working on solo music that will debut on this Myspace page. Stay tuned and always ROCK!!!ROCKMORE64 From: ★ NIKKI ★ SIXX ★ Date: Jun 4, 2008 2:41 PMFollow the countdown to the new Motley Crue album, Saints of Los Angeles, with a brand new widget.

I'd like to meet:

Ideally??..John Lennon, Chuck Berry, Elvis & Howlin' Wolf...really...Anyone who is not afraid to be themselves, who is a free spirit, lusts for life, and of course anyone who ROCKS!!!If I ask you to add me as a friend I will write you a note as sort of an introduction and would like to cultivate some sort of relationship over time, if you ask to add me as a friend I expect you to do the same. The ROCK STARS on my page are exempt, they give me great music and they are busy making more great music, plus I'm not sure it's really them, but it looks cool on my page;)...I don't add friends for sheer numbers.
