Thank you for visiting B&A Studios! The studio is residential, located in Glen Burnie right between Baltimore and Annapolis. A comfortable working environment is what we strive for, the more relaxed the better your recording experience will be. Outside of the studio is a comfortable area to relax and take a break, featuring a 61" hi def TV with 5.1 surround sound, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii.
Aside from band/artist recordings we can also do compositions and recording for internet, animation, web sites, jingles, video and film.

What styles of music have been recorded at B&A Studios?
We have recorded with many different artists and musicians ranging from rock, funk, jazz, R&B, rap/hip-hop, metal, and classic rock. Each artist's recording session is looked at in it's own unique way. Of course, a jazz trio would not get the same mixing and production as a rock band would. We take great care in getting the sound YOU want.
Why should I come to B&A Studios?
Jeremy Hayes, the resident enginer/producer has much experience in the music industry. Being a musician himself (guitar, bass and drums), it is much easier to understand the instrumentation during the recording process. Before recording any instrument, he will work with you to get the best possible tone before any tracks are laid down. This goes as far as setting up your guitar/bass if needed, tuning drums, or any mechanical services you may need... at no extra charge! Taking a true musicians approach to recording is one thing can never be surpassed.
Jeremy is a graduate of the Sheffield Insitute for the Recording Arts, a nationally recognized, top notch school and studio. Learning from the area's top engineers and producers such as Jonathan Lesane ("JoSane"), Drew Mazurek, Rob Ziv, Duke Gore, Glenn Workmann, and Jake Mossman, Jeremy has and continues to gain valuable knowledge and technique that makes a big impact.
What quality recording should I expcet?
This depends on many factors... We will spend as much time and effort as possible to obtain the highest quality recording from the artists using the equipment at our facility. Your performance as an artist is the largest factor in getting a good sound. If everything goes smoothly during tracking you will end up with an excellent sounding final mix.
We use some of the industries top rated equipment to record your material. Digidesign (Pro Tools), Trident, Groove Tubes, Shure, and Sennheiser, just to name a few.
