REVIEW’S"...Next on were The GT’s. They are Matt on vocals, Johhny on drums, Kev on bass, Mark and Dave on guitars, and Stu ..boards. We managed to cram them onto the stage and they rewarded us with a brit rock Oasis sounding set. The first song was "Tow The Line", a fairly gentle start followed by the thumping bass line in "Same Old Song". Matt gave us good clear lyrics sometimes delivered with a sneer and a growl which only added to the Oasis feel to this band.
They had a following in the room and had people dancing from the first track. Both the audience and the band enjoyed their set...".Paul CunniffAcomb Music ’06."...I’m looking forward to having them (the GT’s) in, really do like their stuff. Their cd’s sound like they’ve gone into a studio, setup, pressed record and jammed away and come out with some really good stuff, its a real talent to be able to do that..."More Raw’s
Matt SeymourBBC Radio York ’07."...The GT’s remind me of a few different acts around at the moment, Kaiser Chiefs mostly, but the emphasis on stacatto throughout the set also takes me back to the heady days of The Jam. The last song even smacked of Status Quo.... ".YorkNights ’07."...Went to this gig (The Junction Thu 19th July 07) after hearing about them through some mates. They blew away the other bands. Am lookin forward to seeing them in Leeds. Def best band in York and could go on to bigger things if they work at it"...!!
