H.C.D. Studios is a full service 56 channel input/output recording and production studio. Featuring a versitle floorplan designed and built from scratch using acoustic science and high quality studio specific construction. The space is nearly 1000 square feet and includes a control room, live room, and Iso booth as well as a private bathroom, small kitchen and lounge area, and studio B.The studio was designed to be both comfortable and acoustically diverse. We use a combination of hand made, new, and vintage, pre amps and analog processors in conjunction with a diverse mic collection to bring you a unique sound that you can only get here. Our custom hand made mics range from large "Yamaha sub-kick" type woofer mics, to dynamic mics with varying degrees of color, powered small diaphragm condensers, and even mics made from siren horns. All these factors, combined with a long list of plug ins and virtual instruments create an unlimited creative soundscape.
Studio B was designed and built as a rental space for people who need a place to do demo recording, production, and small independent projects. The studio is well equipped and other gear is available upon request. (See Studio B gear list below).
