VENUSFLYTRAXX is my name aka DJ V.E.N.U.S!!Music is my true love.........I'm an ENTERTAINER, i use RAPPING, DEE-JAYIN, PRODUCING & SONGWRITING to express myself!I have been in this music bizz since 1990. When I met MC Hammer & danced with him on stage at wembley arena, since then i was in my 1st rap group called 2 BAD 2 B GOOD(wicked name). Then i started Dee-jayin heavily at secondray school with my Godfather JESSE JAMES at parties & bar-b-ques and selling mixtapes)aah the good ol days!My 2nd group formed in 1995 after entering a local talent show with my best friend, add 2 more girls and RNB girlband FIRST CLASS were born! After much hustling we signed a RECORD DEAL with BMG RECORDS IN 1996 we were very young and naive and were unfortunately dropped in 1998. However it was a great learning experience & we toured with many stars such as MC LYTE, SWV, BLACKSTREET, MISSY ELLIOTT, PETER ANDRE, ANT & DEC(lol) DAMAGE and many more who have dissapeared from planet earth!Plus wrote & recorded with Top uk/us writers such as DON-E, KAY GEE, LUCAS, GLEN GOLDSMITH, C-SWING, IGNORANTS, DION RAMBO, JONUZ BRAYANT & Many more who have also gone A.W.O.L.I signed a publishing deal with Perfect songs/ZTT in 1998 which was also an interesting experience.I purchased my 1st keyboard(korg) and MPC in 1999 vowing to write & produce records!!I collaborated with BLACKOUT(dance music) as the featured rapper in 2001 and Released "MR DJ" thru INDEPENDIANTE recieving a Top 20 Hit in the National Charts (finally some royalties)I've worked with SONIC HYPE ENT marketting & promoting the J.A.Y.SERIES plus mixing joints on the cd's behind the scenes.I've also worked as an INTERN with IGNORANTS PRODUCTIONS which helped me to develop my Songwriting & Production skills.I was involved in the KISS100 CLASH OF THE DJ'S TV SHOW REPPING RESISTANCE with supa dupa DJ/PRODUCER DAZ-D.LETS PAUSE THE STORY & SEE DJ VENUS AT THE DAZ-D SUPRISE PARTY CAN U RESIST????
